Il dottor Paradigm ruba le ricerche effettuate dal dottor Bolton, con l'intento di sperimentarle. Colto in flagrante da Bolton, Paradigm arriverà a trasformare lo scienziato in un mostro. Successivamente cattura i quattro figli del dottor Bolton, John, Bobby, Coop e Clint, per un esperimento: inietta loro il DNA di alcuni squali e in seguito questi si trasformano in quattro squali dalle fattezze umane e dalla grande forza fisica. Da allora i quattro uomini-squalo decidono di formare un team chiamato "Street Sharks" intento a combattere il crudele dottor Paradigm per impedire i suoi piani di conquista e recuperare le loro sembianze umane. La serie è incentrata sui loschi piani del dottor Paradigm e sul costante tentativo di catturare i fratelli così da costringerli ad obbedire al suo volere, nonché a prendere il controllo dell'intera città. Gli Street Sharks intervengono di volta in volta, risolvendo anche le situazioni più pericolose grazie, ironia della sorte, alle capacità che lo stesso dottor Paradigm ora trasformato in dottor Piranha gli ha dato.

After Moby Lick has been caught by Malcolm when trying to rescue them, the President enlists the Street Sharks to investigate where the trace the Florida panthers and Moby Lick to a nearby island where Malcolm has used a petrifying laser to petrify Moby Lick, the Florida panthers, and other wildlife in the Everglades. Now Malcolm plans to have the Street Sharks provide a hunting challenge for him. 15: Shark Hunt

Dragon Ball Z narra le avventure di Goku, ormai divenuto adulto, il quale si è sposato con Chichi e da cui ha avuto due figli, Gohan e, successivamente, Goten. Con il proseguire della serie e delle avventure, aumentano sia gli avversari sia la loro potenza, e le battaglie che ne derivano causano un allontanamento sempre maggiore da quella che era la base della storia in Dragon Ball, ovvero la ricerca delle sfere del drago. Si privilegiano così la crescita dei personaggi e il susseguirsi degli scontri, affidandosi a una trama rivelatasi di enorme successo. La serie copre un arco narrativo di 22 anni, partendo dall'attacco di Radish e concludendosi con la partenza di Goku allo scopo di allenare Ub in occasione del 28º Torneo Tenkaichi.

Durante la ricerca egli si imbatte in Piccolo il quale, sfidandolo, scopre di non essere nemmeno in grado di ferirlo. Purtroppo Goku è molto veloce ed infine i due sono costretti ad aiutarlo e a portarlo in una via segreta che porta al palazzo di Re Enma. Crili, Tensing Iamko e Jiaozi vengono trasportati dal Supremo in un mondo parallelo dove si scontrano con due Saiyan fittizi. I due alieni attaccano subito il gruppo uccidendo al primo attacco sia Riff che Crili. Tensing e Iamko combattono insieme nel tentativo di fermare i due Saiyan. Iamko durante il combattimento mostra una versione potenziata del suo Sokidan il Cho Sokidan. Nonostante lottino al limite delle loro grandi capacità i due giovani terrestri vengono duramente sconfitti e uccisi dagli alieni. Iamko e Tensing si risvegliano dopo la loro morte e scoprono che la battaglia che hanno sostenuto era solo un'illusione creata allo scopo di far loro comprendere l'enorme potenza combattiva dei Saiyan. Il Supremo inoltre rivela che i due Saiyan incontrati non erano guerrieri di alto livello e che la loro forza non era nemmeno paragonabile a quella dei due guerrieri in viaggio per la Terra e chiede loro se sono ancora convinti di voler partecipare alla battaglia che verrà. Iamko afferma sicuro che si sottoporrà a qualunque allenamento pur di riuscire a sconfiggere i due avversari. 17: L'incontro con i due Sayan
