La trama intreccia un misto storia e mito e si incentra sulla leggendaria spada Xuan-Yuan che “l’imperatore giallo” usò per difendere l’antica Cina. Le sorelle Yin e Ning vivono felicmente in un paesino di montagna e giocano spesso con il coetaneo Zhao. La loro serenità vine interrotta una notte dall'improvviso attacco delle forze imperiali. Zhao è innamorato di Ning e chiede alla sorella minore, di lei, Yin, di passarle un messaggio su un incontro, nel quale lui ha intenzione di confessarle il suo amore. Ma Yin ama Zhao e - presa dalla gelosia - fa in modo che i due non si vedano. Quella sera i destini dei tre saranno per sempre segnati: Yin perderà le braccia, tranciate di netto dagli imperiali e così Ning si sentirà in dovere di occuparsi della sorellina, mentre la popolazione del villaggio verrà in parte trucidata, in parte resa schiava, le due fuggiranno per un soffio; Zhao verrà fatto schiavo e portato presso la capitale. Trama

TRAMA
Una giovane chierica si unisce a un gruppo di avventurieri ancora inesperti intenzionati a sterminare un gruppo di goblin, delle creature che vivono nelle caverne e considerate tra le più deboli.
