Pearl Harbor è la storia di un intenso amore nato sullo sfondo degli eventi del 7 dicembre 1941. Descrive le vicende di due giovani e audaci piloti e della bella e sensibile infermiera di cui sono entrambi innamorati. E' un imponente film sulla forza dell'amore e sul coraggio del singolo messi a dura prova da un drammatico momento storico.

Nel 1999, una ciclopica astronave aliena si schianta su Macross, un'isola della Terra. Dallo studio di questo eccezionale artefatto, gli scienziati terrestri ottengono conoscenze tecnologiche piuttosto avanzate, che portano alla costruzione di nuovi mezzi bellici come i caccia trasformabili VF-1 Varitech (soprannominati anche Valkyrie) ed al ripristino della stessa astronave aliena (ribattezzata, in seguito, SDF-1, Super Dimensional Fortress 1). Durante la cerimonia d'inaugurazione della nave, il popolo alieno dei giganteschi Zentradi attacca l'isola ed i suoi abitanti. Un pilota acrobatico, Rick Hunter, sale a bordo di un aereo militare (un caccia Valkyrie) e viene suo malgrado coinvolto nel combattimento (schiantandosi infine, sulla casa di una giovane ragazza, Lynn Minmay). Le forze aliene sono così superiori a quelle terrestri che e il comandante dell'SDF-1, Henry Gloval, ordina di compiere un salto iperspaziale, che trasferisce la fortezza spaziale e, come effetto collaterale, anche gran parte dell'isola di Macross e le due navi da guerra Daedalus e Prometeus, in prossimità di Plutone. La gigantesca astronave diventa così una vera città spaziale, in cui i superstiti dell'incidente vivono sotto la costante minaccia degli Zentradi, i quali, localizzata la nave ne inseguono la scia.

In un ipotetico futuro, nella città di Kirin Town (o Killing Town), Ranma Hinamatsuri e Rella Cindy Shirayuki sono i proprietari di una società di investigazioni private, l’agenzia R&R, che prende il nome dalle loro iniziali. Durante una loro indagine, mentre scappano, hanno un incidente automobilistico e quando Ranma si riprende crede che la sua collega Rella sia morta. Ma presto si scopre che ogni 24 ore, allo scoccare della mezzanotte, i due si scambiano di corpo: in pratica Ranma diventa Rella e poi Rella ridiventa Ranma. I due, dopo un po’ di smarrimento per la loro amnesia, scopriranno questa loro “caratteristica speciale” grazie all’aiuto della governante di Rella, la sorprendente Dorothy Ozu.

Boys Be..., scritto in lettere occidentali anche in Giappone come BOYS BE… o in katakana come ????·?? ( Boizu Bi?), è un manga scritto da Masahiro Itabashi e disegnato da Hiroyuki Tamakoshi, pubblicato dal 1991 al 2001, con serie successive nel 2009 e nel 2012. Dal manga sono stati tratti un dorama di 13 episodi trasmesso nel 1998 ed un anime di altrettanti episodi trasmesso nel 2000. Un adattamento anime di tredici episodi, diretto da Masami Shimoda e prodotto da Hal Film Maker, è stato trasmesso sul canale satellitare WOWOW dall'11 aprile al 4 luglio 2000. A differenza del manga, l'anime di Boys Be... si concentra sugli alti e bassi amorosi di un gruppo di sei adolescenti alle prese con i primi innamoramenti. Ogni episodio comincia e termina con una frase filosofica, relativa alla storia dell'episodio. Protagonisti dell'anime sono Kyoichi e Chiaru, intorno alle cui vite nascono, crescono e muoiono i sentimenti dei loro compagni di scuola. L'anime è stato pubblicato in Italia da Dynit in tre DVD usciti rispettivamente il 6 giugno 2002 (quando l'azienda era ancora Dynamic Italia), il 24 marzo 2004 ed il 7 aprile 2004. I primi due contengono quattro episodi ciascuno, mentre l'ultimo cinque. Gli episodi sono disponibili per la visione in streaming su internet sul sito Popcorn TV da marzo 2013. In televisione è stata trasmessa sul canale digitale terrestre Ka-Boom dal 9 gennaio 2014.

Da quando suo padre è stato ucciso, Taylor si è presa cura dell'agorafobica madre Ann Marie e della fattoria di famiglia. Pronta finalmente a riprendersi la sua vita, si prepara a dire alla madre di voler andare a vivere con il fidanzato Blake all'inizio del nuovo anno scolastico. Tuttavia, i suoi piani vengono rimandati a causa di un'incombente tempesta che minaccia di distruggere la fattoria. Mentre si prepara ad affrontare il peggio, uno sconosciuto bussa alla porta di Taylor chiedendo di un posto dove stare. Non fidandosi, Taylor crede che l'uomo sia legato alla morte del padre. Si ritroverà così a dover affrontare la tempesta e a mantenere al sicuro la madre dal misterioso individuo.
