1. Karen Dalton - In My Own Time (50th Anniversary Edition) 1971 (2022) Country: USA Genre: Folk, Country,Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:06:26 Full Size: 1.17 GB A half-century after the release of Karen Dalton's cult classic second album, In My Own Time sounds as magical as it always has; it was never-despite the album's title-that she was ahead of her time, but rather not of this world. Which is not to say she was some ethereal creature. After a whole life lived in her teenage years, married twice and with two kids, Dalton moved from Oklahoma to New York City to be part of the Greenwich Village 1960s folk scene alongside the likes of Tim Hardin and Neil Young. Bob Dylan called her one of his favorites, saying "Karen had a voice like Billie Holiday." She reportedly hated the comparison, though you get why Dylan made it: it's the weary ache and that slim silver thread of hope that remains. You can hear it on her cover of George Jones' "Take Me;" the piano flutters like it needs a fainting couch, but Dalton turns the quiet plea into something wistful rather than desperate. "Take me to Siberia and the coldest weather of the winter time/ And it would be just like spring in California," she sings, drawing out that last word like it's some impossible oasis. (By then, Dalton had had two teeth knocked out in a fight between boyfriends.) It's in her jaunty delivery of the Holland-Dozier-Holland's "How Sweet It is" and her interpretation of Richard Manuel's psychedelic country-rock "In a Station," Dalton blowing like wind through some desolate space. And lord knows it's in her most famous song, the Scottish folk traditional "Katie Cruel." Helped along by high-lonesome banjo, it's as haunted as they come. "When I first came to town, they called me the roving jewel," Dalton sings, managing to make it sound like she's not broken by it all. "Now they've changed their tune, call me Katie Cruel." Credit her wavery, light-refracted voice and the way it reflects both a fragility of nature and a hardscrabble strength of circumstance. (While the story of folkie Fred Neil secretly recording Dalton's first album by not telling her the tape was running has been romanticized, it's also exploitative and manipulative.) Dalton, who would disappear after In My Own Time, battled heroin and alcohol addiction and died at age 55 after an AIDS diagnosis. But her influence carries on, in Angel Olsen, Lucinda Williams, Sharon Van Etten, Courtney Barnett and Nick Cave, to name a few. This new expanded and remastered edition includes alternate takes of "In My Own Dream," "Something on Your Mind" and "Katie Cruel." The latter two light a small fire under the beat, but find Dalton less declarative, like she's consoling a friend in hushed tones. There are also several live tracks. "Take Me," captured in April 1971 in Germany, is so intimate it's disarming, Dalton's voice cracking on the line "like heaven to me." But there is strength-an almost defiance-on the songs from her Montreaux performance a month later, even in "Blues on the Ceiling" when she predicts she'll "Never get out of these blues alive." © Shelly Ridenour/Qobuz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Na6XVgIvkeA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzkhFFvLWEA&list=OLAK5uy_ntErliJaccbqaxE4lb3NjuXu8Kev84_S0&index=7 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/v6mes27i6fck/Karen.Dalton.-.In.My.Own.Time.50th.Anniversary.Edition.1971.2022.rar
2. The Super Deluxe Box includes the new stereo mix, bonus tracks and a previously unreleased bootleg concert at Olympia Theatre, Paris 1971, on 2 CDs. 3. The Doors - L.A. Woman (50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, Remaster) (1971) [2021] [192kHz/24bit] Label: Rhino / Elektra Country: USA Genre: Psychedelic rock,Blues rock Quality: FLAC (*tracks) Bitrate: Lossless [192kHz/24bit] Time: 03:29:02 Full Size: 7.91 GB The final album with Jim Morrison in the lineup is by far their most blues-oriented, and the singer's poetic ardor is undiminished, though his voice sounds increasingly worn and craggy on some numbers. Actually, some of the straight blues items sound kind of turgid, but that's more than made up for by several cuts that rate among their finest and most disturbing work. The seven-minute title track was a car-cruising classic that celebrated both the glamour and seediness of Los Angeles; the other long cut, the brooding, jazzy "Riders on the Storm," was the group at its most melodic and ominous. It and the far bouncier "Love Her Madly" were hit singles, and "The Changeling" and "L'America" count as some of their better little-heeded album tracks. An uneven but worthy finale from the original quartet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0BrTXtACKg https://hotlink.cc/folder/256d8b27-5398-11ec-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e
4. David Crosby - If I Could Only Remember My Name (50th Anniversary Edition) 1971 (2021) 96-24 Country: USA Genre: Rock,Folk rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96-192kHz/24bit] Time: 01:42:39 Full Size: 3.03 GB Singer-songwriter David Crosby's solo debut, If I Could Only Remember My Name, was dismissed by critics when it came out in 1971. Over the years, however, appreciation has grown for the album's adventurous aesthetic, stacked harmonies and haunting lyrics about loss and confusion. Billed as Crosby's solo debut, the album was anything but a one-man project. Instead, it was one of his most collaborative efforts, featuring an all-star cast of players that included members of the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, and Santana, along with Graham Nash, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, and others. If I Could Only Remember My Name turned 50 earlier this year and Rhino is celebrating with a 2-CD set that includes the album lovingly remastered from the original analog tapes, accompanied by a bonus disc that features a dozen unreleased demos, outtakes, and alternative versions. The new remaster was overseen by original album engineer Stephen Barncard with restoration and speed correction using Plangent Processes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n-JRj9mXvFk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SA05IYMsQYw Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/c17a1f95-2dce-11ec-a971-0cc47ac4f47e
5. The Beatles - Let It Be (50th Anniversary, Super Deluxe) 1970 (2021) 96-24 Country: UK Genre: Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 02:44:22 Full Size: 3.24 GB The five volumes are yet another tantalizing glimpse into the band's storied creative process. Although the reception for the album was largely mixed on release-some reviewers savaged it-the songs in retrospect are nothing short of amazing; this is by no means bottom-of-the-barrel Beatles. Tunes like "Get Back," "Let It Be," and "The Long and Winding Road" are as good as anything the band ever wrote or recorded. The first volume here contains the original album in a fresh 96 kHz/24-bit remix that like the other Giles Martin-directed mixes is sharper and brighter than the original but not fundamentally different. The biggest aural change has Ringo Starr's drums brought up and forward in the mix, like in the previous reissues in the series. Perhaps most important about this edition of Let It Be is that after years of being bootlegged, Glyn Johns' 1969 Get Back mix has finally been officially released in improved sound and can now be fairly compared to the 1970 version. Deliberately jumbled, with lots of studio patter left in, and meant to be a window into the band's loose, humorous way of making music (or what they hoped to project as such), it still feels sloppy and unfinished, which may be why The Beatles-who waffled throughout the process and initially wanted that ambiance-rejected it in en masse. Johns' mix opens with "One After 909" (written by Paul and John as teenagers) and then proceeds through looser versions of "Don't Let Me Down" (with fabulous accompaniment from keyboardist Billy Preston) "Dig A Pony," and "I've Got a Feeling" with Lennon adding his usual silly, sardonic asides throughout. George Harrison's "For You Blue" opens with the sound of ice cubes swirling in a drink. McCartney's much maligned "Teddy Boy," which didn't make the final cut of Let It Be but became part of McCartney's first solo album, is heard here with Lennon's famous mocking "Do-Si-Do" background comment left intact. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_Vn1oSnw5c https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgI9q1e9Wtw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hv_PuJWq5n4 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/00e7181a-2d00-11ec-a971-0cc47ac4f47e
6. Rory Gallagher - Rory Gallagher (50th Anniversary Edition) 1971 (2021) 96-24 Country: UK Genre: Blues Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:45:07 Full Size: 2.13 GB Rory Gallagher 50th Anniversary Edition include a brand-new mix of the original album, plus 18 previously unreleased outtakes and alternate takes, all mastered at Abbey Road Studios. The debut album features some of the most beloved Rory songs such as "I Fall Apart" (Rory's second most streamed song), "Laundromat" and "Just The Smile." While reviewing numerous tapes during the 2021 mixing sessions, two songs were added to the collection: the previously unreleased "At The Bottom," a track Rory ended up re-recording for his 1975 Against The Grain album, plus "Advision Jam," a rocking instrumental. The recording saw Rory Gallagher on guitar and lead vocals as well as alto sax, harmonica and mandolin, Gerry McAvoy on bass and Wilgar Campbell on drums. Atomic Rooster's Vincent Crane plays piano on two out of the 10 songs on the album "Wave Myself Goodbye" and "I'm Not Surprised." Recorded at the legendary Advision Studios in Fitzrovia, London, Rory's eponymous debut album showcases the Irish guitarist as a multi-faceted interpreter of the blues with a cross-section of the blues from acoustic to heavy blues soul. If ever there was a "musician's musician" then that accolade belongs to Rory Gallagher. Renowned for his blistering live performances and highly respected for his dedication to his craft, he died in 1995, aged just 47. Rory's timeless reputation has continued to flourish in the years since. Indeed, some of rock's most seminal figures, from Jimi Hendrix to Eric Clapton, Joe Satriani to Joe Bonamassa, Queen's Brian May to The Smiths' Johnny Marr, Slash of Guns N Roses to the Edge of U2, have cited him as an influence. Rory remains a touchstone for all would-be guitar heroes in the 21st Century. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VheAxI4rXLo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raNYiHyxCgA Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/a827e68c-0cb8-11ec-a971-0cc47ac4f47e Download from DaoFile https://daofile.com/go/4se6cffqjnwt

8. Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Déjà Vu (50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) 1970 (2021) 192-24 Country: USA Genre: Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 03:11:02 Full Size: 6.77 GB Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young's Deja Vu was the most-anticipated new album in America in 1970. More than 50 years later, it's one of the most famous albums in rock history with legendary songs, including "Carry On" and "Teach Your Children," that still resonate today. This milestone album is transformed into an expansive HiResAudio collection that includes a pristine version of the original album, plus hours of rare and unreleased studio recordings that provide incredible insight into the making of the record. Crowe recalls in the liner notes that "Deja Vu caught the zeitgeist perfectly" and "might just be the legendary band's most accurate portrait of their fiery individualism." Of this new Deluxe Edition, Crowe opines: "50 years later, with the sonic aperture fully opened, it's a wide-screen look at the big picture of Deja Vu, with more music, including a batch of surprises, unseen photos, and a lot more clarity." On the new anniversary edition, the album's original 10 tracks are joined by 38 more to add nearly two-and-a-half hours of music that includes demos, outtakes, and alternate takes - most of which are previously unreleased. Among them is "Know You Got To Run," the first song the quartet recorded during its first session on July 15 at the house Stills was renting from Peter Tork in Studio City. Other unreleased highlights include the demo for Crosby's "Almost Cut My Hair"; Stills' outtake for "Bluebird Revisited"; and Young's alternate version of "Helpless" featuring harmonica. Also making its debut on the set is a delightful version of "Our House" that features Nash singing with the song's inspiration, Joni Mitchell. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfepzA1UkI4&list=PLmXxqSJJq-yUFwr6IlGvbJ7gzNgx9vftU&index=4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4zSLoMCvfg&t=2s Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/7aef9f8a-b4c5-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e Download from DaoFile https://daofile.com/nl2gqekwyd28/Crosby,_Stills,_Nash_%2526_Young_-_Deja_Vu_(50th_Anniversary_Deluxe_Edition)_1970_(2021)_192-24.rar
