1. Tedeschi Trucks Band - I Am The Moon - III. The Fall (2022) 192-24 Country: USA Genre: Blues,Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 29:58 Full Size: 1.15 GB I Am The Moon, the fifth studio release by Tedeschi Trucks Band, is the most ambitious and, at the same time, intimate recording that America's best rock 'n' roll big band has ever made: a genuinely epic undertaking in four albums and 24 original songs inspired by classical literature but emotionally driven by the immediate drama, isolation and mourning of the pandemic era. There is the recurring fight for hope too, the reaching across damaged connections - all of that trial and urgency unfolding over a robust tapestry of blues, funk, country, jazz and gospel in collaborative writing, luminous singing and the instant fire of improvisation. At more than two hours of music, the four albums that comprise I Am The Moon - Crescent, Ascension, The Fall and Farewell - are like a full evening of all-new composition and performance with Tedeschi Trucks Band, the 12-piece touring phenomenon founded in 2010 by its married leaders, guitarist Derek Trucks and singer-guitarist Susan Tedeschi. In its heart and scale, I Am The Moon is also a living, evolving map of the soul: the enduring tale of star-crossed devotion in Layla and Majnun by the 12th-century Persian poet Nizami Ganjavi, brought forward to present day, through universal experience and faith. As Tedeschi sings at the start of Crescent, in the gently swinging R&B of "Hear My Dear" - As we watch the world go by/There's so much we search to find/Holding on to memories/Knowing there's so much more to say - it's immediately evident that I Am The Moon is a record as big as its stories - and the life and love inside. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFbRb1BZKQk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVHuXFDLy2Y https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g92Ki3x0DdI Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/625eefee-e8b9-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e

8. Thin Lizzy - Black Rose - A Rock Legend 1979 (2013) [192-24] Country: Ireland Genre: Hard Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 38:46 Full Size: 1.47 GB Black Rose: A Rock Legend would prove to be Thin Lizzy's last true classic album (and last produced by Tony Visconti). Guitarist Brian Robertson was replaced by Gary Moore prior to the album's recording. Moore had already been a member of the band in the early '70s and served as a tour fill-in for Robertson in 1977, and he fits in perfectly with Lizzy's heavy, dual-guitar attack. Black Rose also turned out to be the band's most musically varied, accomplished, and successful studio album, reaching number two on the U.K. album chart upon release. Lizzy leader Phil Lynott is again equipped with a fine set of originals, which the rest of the band shines on -- the percussion-driven opener "Do Anything You Want To," the pop hit "Waiting for an Alibi," and a gentle song for Lynott's newly born daughter, "Sarah." Not all the material is as upbeat, such as the funky "S&M," as well two grim tales of street life and substance abuse -- "Toughest Street in Town" and "Got to Give It Up" (the latter sadly prophetic for Lynott). Black Rose closes with the epic seven-minute title track, which includes an amazing, complex guitar solo by Moore that incorporates Celtic themes against a hard rock accompaniment. 13. Ben Harper - Diamonds On The Inside 2003 (2016) 192-24 Country: USA Genre: Rock,Blues,Funk Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:01:27 Full Size: 2.45 GB Ben Harper is a musical preacher of sorts, never one to be shy in speaking his mind about social conformity. If his first two albums -- Welcome to the Cruel World and Fight for Your Mind -- didn't clue you in, Diamonds on the Inside will definitely do so. Diamonds on the Inside marks Harper's fifth studio effort and this time he's emotionally in touch with what makes his heart burst. This is a passionate album, no doubt. His signature Weissenborn guitar joins him once more and Harper's classic groovy funk is heavy; however, Harper adds worldbeat to his musical plank. From the Marley-esque vibe of "With My Own Two Hands" to the African soundscapes of Ladysmith Black Mambazo on "Picture of Jesus," Harper's purist presentation is smooth. "When It's Good" gives a little country blues twang, while "Touch From You Lust" is a sexy haze of writhing riffs. "Temporary Remedy" follows the funk Lenny Kravitz-style, and Harper's a bit campy. It's a noticeable change from his typically serious stature and a nice shift in personality, too. Diamonds on the Inside is another stunning effort from one of rock's underground heroes. Harper has consistently worked with what appeals to him musically for nearly a decade, ignoring what fits the mainstream. Diamonds on the Inside is Harper's sixth chapter of truth and just one listen to the electric blaze of "Everything" will convince you. © MacKenzie Wilson /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpns_a4Nuvo Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/1030aeb2-090f-11ed-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e
14. Mark Knopfler - Tracker (Deluxe Edition) (2015) 192-24 Country: UK Genre: Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:14:40 Full Size: 2.71 GB Scaled smaller than 2012's double-album Privateering, Tracker also feels suitably subtle, easing its way into being instead of announcing itself with a thunder. Such understatement is typical of Mark Knopfler, particularly in the third act of his career. When he left Dire Straits behind, he also left behind any semblance of playing for the cheap seats in an arena, but Tracker feels quieter than his new millennial norm. Some of this is due to the undercurrent of reflection tugging at the record's momentum. Knopfler isn't pining for the past but he is looking back, sometimes wistfully, sometimes with a resigned smile, and he appropriately draws upon sounds that he's long loved. Usually, this means some variation of pub rock -- the languid ballad "River Towns," the lazy shuffle "Skydiver," the two-chord groove of "Broken Bones" -- but this is merely the foundation from which Knopfler threads in a fair amount of olde British folk and other roots digressions. This delicate melancholy complements echoes of older Knopfler songs -- significant stretches of the record are reminiscent of the moodier aspects of Brothers in Arms, while "Beryl" has just a bit of the "Sultans of Swing" bounce -- and this skillful interweaving of Knopfler's personal past helps give Tracker a nicely gentle resonance. © Stephen Thomas Erlewine /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPhQNPE0EHs Download from HotLink https://www.keeplinks.org/p72/64f33430053be

16. Electric Light Orchestra - Time 1981 (2015) 192-24 Country: UK Genre: Progressive rock,Symphonic rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 43:53 Full Size: 1.65 GB Time takes its cues more from such bands as the Alan Parsons Project and Wings than from Jeff Lynne's fascination with Pepper-era Beatles. Sure, all the electronic whirrs and bleeps are present and accounted for, and Time did spawn hit singles in "Hold on Tight" and "Twilight," but on the average, ELO had begun to get too stuck on the same structure and content of their releases. "The Way Life's Meant to Be" echoes very early ELO hits like "Can't Get It Out of My Head," and the "Prologue" and "Epilogue" segments try and bring about a unifying concept that doesn't quite hold up upon listening all the way through. Time proves to be competent ELO but not great ELO. © James Chrispell /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXBiPY8wDT0&list=OLAK5uy_mZi_Tyo-qQ0cTvWbV0uxCgfLaCMJF-Kys&index=4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9FZVdoakd0&list=OLAK5uy_mZi_Tyo-qQ0cTvWbV0uxCgfLaCMJF-Kys&index=6 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/0ba9f8ec-daad-11ec-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e

19. Tedeschi Trucks Band - I Am The Moon- II. Ascension (2022) 192-24 Country: USA Genre: Blues Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 36:23 Full Size: 1.22 GB Susan Tedeschi and husband Derek Trucks would like you to think that I Am The Moon maintains a coherent narrative that meaningfully wrestles with the most universal of life's questions across four albums. But while the entire project is based on the Sufi love story of Layla and Majnun, the second installment, Ascension, is in the end seven love songs that sway back and forth between the joys and the pain inherent in this most human of emotions. As in the opening volume Crescent, Tedeschi's voice proves to be the strongest force. Over the rocked up, organ-and-tambourine R&B of "Playing with My Emotions," she sings both the male and female parts, getting in several great lines like "He's flying home but he doesn't land" before trading electric guitar solos with Trucks. A bluesy bounce returns in "Ain't That Something" with Tedeschi's voice again being the glue that both leads and holds the tune together while Trucks' guitar lunges into a psychedelic-influenced solo in the background. Heartfelt and polished, this pair of opening numbers could easily fit on any Tedeschi Trucks record of the past. Winding charts for the group's horn section of Kebbi Williams (saxophone), Ephraim Owens (trumpet) and Elizabeth Lea (trombone) mark the 9-minute long "All the Love," supposedly a single unedited take. Authentic and true to its hallowed models, "So Long Savior" splits the difference between acoustic Delta blues and rousing gospel. Led by Trucks' slide guitar, which nods to the constant influence of his uncle's band The Allman Brothers, "Rainy Day" is the kind of pop-edged southern rock that Tedeschi Trucks have consistently had a talent for concocting. The country rock of "La Di Da," which closes each verse with "So we'll raise our glasses high/ To this bittersweet goodbye/ And we'll say farewell in the morning," has more than a whiff of Gram Parsons' "We'll Sweep Out the Ashes in Morning." While the seven-song Ascension is slightly stronger than the opening volume Crescent, thoughts of whether all of this might have been better as a double album inevitably creep in. This is a multimedia project, with the music meant to coexist with the short films, and how much that affects the way the songs sound as opposed to the look being played live is hard to say. But just from listening, there's no doubt this is precisely played, quality song craftsmanship. © Robert Baird/Qobuz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFbRb1BZKQk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuf8eKna4wA Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/625eefee-e8b9-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e
20. Christine Mcvie (Fleetwood Mac) - Songbird (A Solo Collection) (2022) 192-24 Country: UK Genre: Rock,Pop Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 42:46 Full Size: 1.69 GB It's great cosmic justice that the least flamboyant member of the Nicks/Buckingham version of Fleetwood Mac is also the one who contributed many of the band's best songs, including "Say You Love Me," "Over My Head," "Don't Stop" and the divine, "Songbird." Only that last tune, in greatly altered form, appears on this compilation that focuses on Christine McVie's two solo albums, Christine McVie (1984) and especially, In The Meantime (2004). The decision not to include anything from her first band Chicken Shack's two albums, her self-titled solo debut, or any of her Fleetwood Mac material outside of the title track keeps this from being a more complete picture of her singing, piano playing and often breathtaking songwriting. Licensing challenges are likely culprits for the lack of Fleetwood Mac material, but the omission of her biggest solo hit, the very Mac-esque "Got a Hold on Me" from her debut (which featured the talents of Lindsey Buckingham, Steve Winwood and Steve Ferrone) is mystifying. What's here though has been fully remixed by producer Glyn Johns (The Rolling Stones, The Beatles) who tinkered with levels and moved instruments around in the mix without changing the originals in hugely obvious ways. This collection also contains two unreleased tracks-the bouncy guitar-led "Slow Down," which was originally written and recorded for the 1985 film American Flyers but went unused, and the heartbreak ballad "All You Gotta Do," a duet McVie wrote and recorded with the late George Hawkins (whose bass is heard on all but one of the album's songs). Originally left unfinished, "All You Gotta Do" was completed by adding Ricky Peterson on organ and Glyn Johns' son, Ethan on drums and guitar. Most interesting is the orchestral version of "Songbird" where the brilliantly talented arranger and composer Vince Mendoza builds a lush string setting around McVie's original vocals from the Rumours session to give the song an even more ethereal, slightly less lonely feel than the original. The results are utterly spectacular. © Robert Baird/Qobuz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkO5VCpbc1E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uC9NtKh__8 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/d7f55eac-a901-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e

22. David Bowie - Let's Dance 1983 (2018) 192-24 Country: UK Genre: Rock, Pop Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 39:46 Full Size: 1.48 GB After summing up his maverick tendencies on Scary Monsters, David Bowie aimed for the mainstream with Let's Dance. Hiring Chic guitarist Nile Rodgers as a co-producer, Bowie created a stylish, synthesized post-disco dance music that was equally informed by classic soul and the emerging new romantic subgenre of new wave, which was ironically heavily inspired by Bowie himself. Let's Dance comes tearing out of the gate, propulsed by the skittering "Modern Love," the seductively menacing "China Girl," and the brittle funk of the title track. All three songs became international hits, and for good reason -- they're catchy, accessible pop songs that have just enough of an alien edge to make them distinctive. However, that careful balance is quickly thrown off by a succession of pleasant but unremarkable plastic soul workouts. "Cat People" and a cover of Metro's "Criminal World" are relatively strong songs, but the remainder of the album indicates that Bowie was entering a songwriting slump. However, the three hits were enough to make the album a massive hit, and their power hasn't diminished over the years, even if the rest of the record sounds like an artifact. © Stephen Thomas Erlewine /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHlwJvPv9C0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YC3sTbAPcU&list=OLAK5uy_lwrQ0wVn-xMlPQuaYmOqBfUuoOqdCQcf0&index=2 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/ef60e7f4-c541-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e
23. Joni Mitchell - The Reprise Albums (1968-1971) (2021) 192-24 Country: Canada Genre: Folk Rock,Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 02:36:40 Full Size: 5.38 GB After publishing Archives-Vol. 1: The Early Years (1963-1967), an imposing box set of Joni Mitchell's recordings, running to 119 mostly unreleased tracks that date from before her first official record, there now comes a collection of well-made, overdue remasterings of her studio albums. As its title suggests, The Reprise Albums (1968-1971) brings together the first four of these: Song to a Seagull (March 1968), Clouds (May 1969), Ladies of the Canyon (April 1970) and Blue (June 1971). The first four and nothing else! That means that we dispense with the usual alternative takes and other unreleased demos that we would usually find on this kind of reissue: the focus here is on the essentials. And what is essential here is a young woman gradually extracting herself from a folk idiom (the Canadian always hated being labelled a folk-singer) and creating her own language. This is an identity that takes shape from Songs to a Seagull onwards. The young Mitchell even entrusted the former Byrd, David Crosby, with the production of this first effort, which she divided into two sides: I Came to the City which looks towards the city, and Out of the City and Down by the Seaside, which turns towards nature. Joni Mitchell develops these themes with her open tuning, her high, clear, mesmerising voice, and a certain melodic richness. A big drawback to Songs to a Seagull is its original mix, which sounds almost shameful. This error was rectified for the 2021 re-release by sound engineer Matt Lee. "The original mix was atrocious. It sounded like it was recorded under a jello bowl, so I fixed it!" With Clouds, Joni Mitchell ploughs a similar furrow, but with greater harmonic and instrumental richness. The themes she addresses on this second album remain transparent enough, from the personal and introspective (I Don't Know Where I Stand) to the tormented and fearful (The Fiddle and the Drum), but the music has become denser. This feeling will intensify with Ladies of the Canyon, a hit which boosted her reputation. This third album saw the singer transform her folk sound with richer lyrics and increasingly subtle arrangements. Joni Mitchell was achieving unprecedented sophistication and becoming a unique star in the orbit of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, to whom she was still very much attached. Critics and audiences quickly fell in love with all of these quirks. But in spite of her fame she still yearned for freedom, and to get away from the limelight. So after Ladies of the Canyon was recorded, naturally Joni Mitchell wanted to set out travelling. One year later, Blue came out. Her fourth album on Reprise, it proved a cornerstone of her introspective, stripped-down folk sound. For all its lack of artifice and repetitive ingredients, this was a work of peerless grace and depth. A masterpiece conceived as a private journal set to music, it marked a real turning point in the career of the 28-year-old musician. This remaster offers up a definitive version. 25. Collective Soul - Disciplined Breakdown (Remastered) 1997 (2022) 192-24 Country: USA Genre: Alternative rock, Post-grunge Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 46:29 Full Size: 1.85 GB Disciplined Breakdown has to be one of only a handful of records inspired by a songwriter's breakup with his manager, but despite its origins, the album is another smartly assembled arena rock collection from Collective Soul. Ed Roland knows how to co-opt contemporary alternative rock trends and refashion them into hard-rocking anthems, as evidenced by the first single, "Precious Declaration." He still has a problem coming up with a consistent set of songs, but Disciplined Breakdown is nearly as slickly entertaining as Collective Soul's eponymous second album, and its best moments indicate that Roland is beginning to develop a distinctive hard rock style of his own. © Stephen Thomas Erlewine /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYC_9Lf9Baw Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/gtb1j3n5izaq/Collective.Soul.-.Disciplined.Breakdown.Remastered.1997.2022.192-24.rar
