4. Korb - III (2022) 44.1-24 Country: UK Genre: Krautrock, Psychedelic Rock, Space rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 40:31 Full Size: 456.69 MB In the field of interplanetary psychedelia, Korb are unique. The British duo of Alec Wood and Jonathan Parkes do not appear to be restricted by time or space as they create a blend of space rock that is achingly classic yet truly exploratory. They dip into the past to embrace the sounds of the seventies; leap forward to borrow some modular synths; head to the present to dabble with contemporary effects and then charge millennia into the future to surf the astral waves of deep space. All of this is thrown together to create a sound that is impossible to pin down: it is both retro and futuristic, of every year and of no year. Korb appear to be the Time Lords of the psych scene with a Tardis tucked neatly into their garage. There's no problem here with the difficult third album. Korb do not appear to exist in linear time, so this record could have been recorded ten years before you were born, or yesterday, or in a thousand years. It sounds like Korb doing what they they do, which is fitting different shapes into a expansive whole, building patterns you will believe were always there and making you wonder why you have never noticed them before. Korb's music is so assured. Synths carry these songs along, while guitars dip in and out, making your spirit soar or your brain shake. There's a worrying edge at times, though Korb always guide you past any danger, allowing you to see the threats but also demonstrating their ability simply to brush them aside. As they travel through infinity they meet gods, hunters, lords and priests; nothing phases them. They build their third android. Soon it will be an army of millions. Korb are irresistable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cL7FuwIv-vg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHP2Tc0UqVk Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/n9nsa85ttsl6/Korb.-.III.2022.44.1-24.rar

 12. Frank Zappa - The Grand Wazoo 1972 (2022) 192-24 Country: USA Genre: Jazz Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192kHz/24 bit] Time: 36:59 Full Size: 1.49 GB "Waka-Jawaka" and "The grand wazoo" were recorded during the same sessions. For "Waka/Jawaka" the set-up of the band is mostly like a smaller jazz combo. That this album can occasionally sound as a big band nevertheless is due to the frequent overdubbing. Sal Marquez for instance gets credited for "many trumpets" during "Big swifty". "The grand wazoo" can be more truly using a big band, a band with which Zappa also made a short tour. In full the band ultimately involved twenty members. Both 1972 jazz albums have extended solos as well as large composed sections. Several blocks are relatively stable in their use of keys. More like "King Kong" than the modernistic "Uncle Meat main title" and the "It must be a camel" examples from the preceding sections. "For Calvin" on the other hand is very versatile. Despite of the quality of these albums, Zappa has not become well known as a jazz arranger. "Like its immediate predecessor, Waka/Jawaka, The Grand Wazoo was a largely instrumental jazz rock album recorded during Frank Zappa's convalescence from injuries sustained after being pushed off a concert stage. While Zappa contributes some guitar solos and occasional vocals, the focus is more on his skills as a composer and arranger. Most of the five selections supposedly form a musical representation of a story told in the liner notes about two warring musical factions, but the bottom line is that, overall, the compositions here are more memorably melodic and consistently engaging than Waka/Jawaka. The instrumentation is somewhat unique in the Zappa catalog as well, with the band more of a chamber jazz orchestra than a compact rock unit; over 20 musicians and vocalists contribute to the record. While Hot Rats is still the peak of Zappa's jazz-rock fusion efforts, The Grand Wazoo comes close, and it's essential for anyone interested in Zappa's instrumental works." 13. Frank Zappa - Waka / Jawaka 1972 (2022) 192-24 Country: USA Genre: Jazz Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192kHz/24 bit] Time: 36:09 Full Size: 1.44 GB When Frank Zappa found himself stuck in a wheelchair for most of the year 1972 (after a "fan" pushed him off the stage in December of the previous year), he relieved his band (including singers Flo & Eddie) of its duties and turned to studio work. One of the first things he tried was to write jazz fusion music scored for wider instrumentation than an average rock band. Waka/Jawaka was conceived in parallel to The Grand Wazoo, but with fewer players. The album, released in July 1972, is comprised of two extended instrumental pieces and two shorter songs. "Big Swifty," a theme-and-solos showcase, would become a live favorite, but the highlight came in the form of the orgiastic title track, recorded with ex-Mothers of Invention keyboardist Don Preston, trumpeter Sal Marquez, trombonists Bill Byers and Ken Shroyer, saxophonist Mike Altschul, bassist Erroneous, and drummer Aynsley Dunbar. The songs, never performed live, feel like filler material. Waka/Jawaka was Zappa's second solo album and is occasionally referred to as "Hot Rats II" (the handles of the faucets on the cover artwork show the words "hot" and "rats" instead of "hot" and "cold"). His writing and recording technique had matured a lot in very little time. The dirty blues jamming of the 1969 LP was replaced by clean, crisp jazz improvisations -- no need to say this was also an abrupt change in style from the Mothers' 1969-1971 incarnation. But this album was only transitional: Zappa's big-band stylings would really flourish in The Grand Wazoo a few months later. © Francois Couture /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxVmRg4faWM Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/f4f6acaa-abdf-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e

 17. Loreena McKennitt - To Drive the Cold Winter Away (1987) [2014] 96-24 Country: Canada Genre: Celtic,World,New Age Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96kHz/24 bit] Time: 45:29 Full Size: 927.53 MB Recorded in various halls and abbeys in Ireland, and completed in the Church of Our Lady in Guelph, Ontario, harpist/arranger/vocalist Loreena McKennitt's first foray into the crowded field of holiday music -- she would go on to release an EP called Winter Garden in 1995 -- is steeped in old-world atmosphere. To Drive the Cold Winter Away celebrates the winter solstice through eight traditional English, Scottish, and Irish carols and ballads and two Mckennitt originals. The artist's reverence for her source material is moving, and her meticulous yet simple arrangements help tracks such as "The Wexford Carol," "The Kings," and "Let Us the Infant Greet" resonate with all of the grace and piousness that the lyrics and poems strive for. McKennitt has succeeded in making a beautiful, haunting, and ambitious yuletide song cycle that despite taking itself a little too seriously, ranks among her finest. © James Christopher Monger /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JfXKEySv_wA Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/a52290e0-6c0c-11ed-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e

 24. Journey - Live In Concert At Lollapalooza (2022) [BDRip 1080p] Label: Frontiers Music Srl Country: USA Genre: AOR, Melodic Rock Quality: MKV/BDRip 1080p Video: HVEC Video / 9 707 kbps / 1920*1080p / 23.976 fps / 16:9 / Main 10@L4@High Audio: LPCM Audio / 2.0 / 48 kHz / 2304 kbps / 24-bit Audio: Dolby Digital Audio / 5.1 / 48 kHz / 384 kbps / DN -31dB Time: 01:38:54 Full Size: 8,56 GB Frontiers Music Srl released of Journey's incredible Lollapalooza performance from Chicago, IL on July 31, 2021. The stunning set, which released on CD/DVD, Blu-ray, and Vinyl, serves as a testament not only to the band's enduring legacy, but their relevance to a whole new generation of rock 'n roll fans. "Journey are veteran professionals when it comes to throwing entertaining concerts, and the fans upfront knew that from experience. But for the young festival goers and indifferent onlookers who expected a weathered band of baby boomers to twiddle their thumbs for an hour before breaking out jukebox staples, they got to experience arguably the most underrated feeling a music festival can offer: discovering a different side to an artist's discography that you overlooked up until then." - Rolling Stone "Journey's Lollapalooza performance blended fresh and familiar, with the band's new lineup delivering a hit-packed package during their Saturday headlining slot." - Ultimate Classic Rock "Pineda's kinetic showmanship was evident throughout the set's litany of hits, as he brought fresh energy to ubiquitous singles from "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" to "Lights." However, the true spark of the night's set rested in the hands of the band's longest-serving members. Guitarist and founder Neal Schon was a quiet force, delivering a reliable string of solos that felt as economical as they were effortless, while on keys, hometown boy Jonathan Cain added soulful sharpness to "Stone in Love" and "Just the Same Way." If anyone in the crowd was worried about their image, they weren't letting on. Instead, they were singing along to the band's deep catalog of songs that have embedded themselves in the heads of anyone who's owned a radio in the last 50 years." - Consequence Of Sound "Unlike so many of their classic rock brethren, Journey has managed to maintain some semblance of relevance amongst a younger demographic and wasted no time getting to the hits Saturday at Lollapalooza." - Forbes Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018, Journey have 25 gold and platinum albums, including the fifteen-million selling Greatest Hits collection, with total sales adding up to 80 million records around the world. As the band's legend continues to grow larger and their touring gets bigger, they recently released a new studio album, "Freedom" in July 2022. It was their first album of new material to be released in eleven years, since 2011's "Eclipse". The album was met with rave critical and fan reviews and charted in multiple countries around the globe.
