Al pianeta è stato dato il nuovo nome di Aqua a causa dello scioglimento della quasi totalità dei suoi ghiacci, cosa che gli ha anche portato il soprannome di "pianeta dell'acqua", mentre alla Terra è stato dato il nuovo nome di Man-Home. Akari Mizunashi è una giovane terrestre che si trasferisce su Aqua per imparare il mestiere di Undine, le gondoliere che fanno da guida turistica a Neo Venezia, riproduzione dell'antica Venezia terrestre ormai completamente sommersa. Nella "città sull'acqua", che non presenta ancora le innovazioni tecnologiche ormai parte della quotidianità sul pianeta madre, s'intrecciano le vicende di Akari, diventata apprendista all'Aria Company, e delle persone che incontra nel suo cammino verso il professionismo.

A organizzare i rapimenti è il giovanissimo Toma, che in preda alla solitudine ha deciso di organizzare una specie di concorso fra donne, la cui vincitrice diverrà sua moglie. TRAMA
Una grave minaccia incombe sull'Agenzia di Detective Armati. Una misteriosa nebbia inizia ad apparire in tutto il mondo; al suo diradarsi, vengono rinvenuti i cadaveri di individui dotati di abilità speciali, uccisi dalla loro stessa abilità. Il colpevole sembra essere una vecchia conoscenza di Dazai e della Port Mafia, ma anche di Atsushi, quel Shibusawa Tatsuhiko che fu anche la mente dietro il conflitto della Testa del Drago di sei anni prima. Mentre l'agenzia viene incaricata dal Ministero di porre fine al problema, tuttavia, la misteriosa nebbia si diffonde per tutta Yokohama. A complicare la situazione, compare anche il demone Fedor, mentre invece Dazai fa perdere le sue tracce.

Trama
Ci sono persone intorno a noi che non devono sforzarsi troppo chiamate "geni". Questi geni hanno tutti però qualcosa in comune: posseggono un certo "qualcosa", un segreto che non possono rivelare alle persone normali. Quel segreto è "Aguu". La protagonista della storia si chiama Ai, una ragazza normale e una ballerina. Anche la sua amica Machi è una ballerina, ma lei è un genio. Il talento di Machi fa sentire spesso giù di morale Ai, ma un giorno quest’ultima riesce a scoprire il segreto dell’amica: l’esistenza degli Aguu, entità grandi quanto un palmo di una mano in grado di fornire un talento da genio a chi le possiede. Per salvare Machi, ormai diventata una "Sarta" che crea Aguu, Ai diventa una "Salvatrice". I salvatori sono un gruppo di persone che hanno combattuto i sarti per generazioni.
