TRAMA
La dolce Toru Honda, già orfana di padre, dopo la morte della madre è costretta ad andare a vivere col nonno, poiché nessun altro parente si vuol prendere "il fastidio". A causa di alcuni problemi ben presto però si trova costretta a lasciare l'abitazione, e decisa ad andare avanti con le sue forze, inizia a vivere in una tenda in un bosco. La positività della ragazza non basta e sciagure si susseguono: un tifone spazza via la sua "casa-tenda". Nel momento di maggior sconforto è Yuki Soma ad aiutarla, un compagno di scuola detto "principe" per via del suo bell'aspetto e i modi raffinati. Yuki le propone di trovare sistemazione nella casa in cui vive con dei parenti: Shigure, romanziere brillante, e Kyo, un ragazzo introverso con il quale ha un pessimo rapporto. Toru accetta l'invito estesole da Yuki e Shigure e scopre ben presto il segreto di casa Soma: quando i membri della famiglia vengono abbracciati da una persona di sesso opposto, si trasformano in uno dei dodici animali dello zodiaco cinese! A vista la cosa potrebbe apparire divertente, si tratta in realtà di un'oscura maledizione a cui sembra impossibile sottrarsi.

Trama

La storia è incentrata sui 3 fratelli Tachibana, figli di Mayumi ed Eisuke: i due fratelli maggiori, Touma e Souichiro, entrambi di 13 anni e frequentanti il secondo anno delle scuole medie, e la sorellina minore Otomi, di 12 anni e in procinto di iniziare il primo anno del medesimo istituto, che altri non è che il Meisei, la stessa scuola in cui, 26 anni prima, avevano avuto inizio le avventure di Tatsuya, Katsuya e Minami di Touch. Viene, tuttavia, subito fatto notare come i due fratelli, nati lo stesso giorno dello stesso anno, non solo non siano gemelli, ma non si somiglino nemmeno un po', lasciando intendere che non siano fratelli di sangue. Touma e Souichiro sono inoltre tra i membri titolari del club di baseball, rispettivamente terza base e ricevitore, sebbene si noti fin da subito come Touma sia decisamente più abile del lanciatore titolare, un facoltoso gigante del terzo anno, verso cui tutti mostrano un atteggiamento accondiscendente e quasi timoroso.

Carole ha sempre sentito la mancanza di qualcosa di intangibile e con questa strana sensazione ha sempre cercato di barcamenarsi ad Alba City: passa da un lavoro part-time a un altro e tira a campare.
Tuesday, invece, è nata da una ricca famiglia di Herschel City, una placida città di provincia; ha sempre sognato di diventare una musicista, ma nessuno comprende questa sua aspirazione e lei si sente la persona più sola al mondo.

Tre yōkai: Bem, Bera e Bero arrivano in una grande città costiera avvolta da un'atmosfera malvagia causata dal comportamento immorale degli umani, dal caos provocato da alcuni mostri e da altri yōkai. I tre decidono di stabilirsi nella metropoli per difendere gli umani dagli attacchi dei mostri e degli yōkai; ciò nonostante vengano discriminati ed emarginati da essi per via del loro aspetto mostruoso. Si impegnano a fondo nella speranza che le loro buone azioni un giorno siano ripagate con una trasformazione in esseri umani. Una serie di OVA che adatta in anime i volumi 9, 11 e 12 della light novel originale di Strike The Blood.

Nella prima parte Koujo, Yukina, Asagi e altri della combriccola, partecipano all'apertura preliminare di un parco acquatico nelle vicinanze dell'isola di Itogami, ma si trovano invischiati nelle trame di un industriale estremista che vuole evocare il leggendario Leviathan per portare la distruzione nella zona ed eliminare anche una certa persona...
Nella seconda parte, Koujo riceve la visita niente meno che di suo padre il quale porta poi la sorellina Nagisa sulla terraferma per una vacanza. Allarmato però da una strana foto che ella gli invia e dal fatto di non riuscire a contattarla, Koujo decide di muoversi per andare a cercarla ma anche il solo lasciare l'isola non sarà affatto facile...

Anno 5738: da migliaia di anni l’intera umanità si ritrova tramutata in pietra a causa di una catastrofe naturale. Ooki Taiju riesce inspiegabilmente a risvegliarsi, trovandosi così di fronte ad una realtà completamente diversa da quanto ricordava, dove la natura ha ripreso il sopravvento sulla civiltà umana. Al suo risveglio il ragazzo si ricongiunge con il suo amico Senkuu, un giovane e geniale scienziato anche lui risvegliatosi qualche mese prima. In un mondo dove la magia è al centro della vita quotidiana sono nati Asta, un ragazzo completamente privo di ogni abilità magica, e il suo amico Yuno, che al contrario è dotato di grande forza magica legata al vento.
