Trama
Miki Koishikawa è una studentessa liceale con la passione per il tennis. La sua vita verrà definitivamente sconvolta con il divorzio dei suoi genitori, in cui entrambi i partner andranno a vivere in un'unica grande casa assieme alle rispettive anime gemelle conosciute durante le loro vacanze alle Hawaii. Inoltre, oltre alle due persone appena conosciute, si aggiungerà il loro figlio Yu Matsura, che Miki soprannominerà "Marmalade boy" a causa del suo aspetto dolce, ma con un gusto retroamaro nascosto. La vita sentimentale di Miki diventerà ancora più complicata nel momento in cui il ragazzo di cui era innamorata in passato si dichiarerà a lei, rendendo ancora più difficile per lei capire qual è la persona di cui è veramente innamorata.
