After some lineup changes, Strangers decided to join forces with Celia Barloz as frontwoman. In addition to being a brilliant vocal coach, Celia had already collaborated with the band as backing vocalist in live shows and recordings on Brand New Start. With her beautiful and heartwarming voice, Celia brings a renewed energy and charisma to the band. Her journey is just beginning, and the future of rock music looks brighter with every note she sings. The new album Boundless marks a significant step forward in their songwriting and showcases a band with the right chemistry and creative synergy. Capturing the band at the peak of their powers the original double album was compiled from recordings made at six shows during in October 1978 on an American tour. This new 8CD box set includes all six complete original concerts for the first time (five previously unreleased) as well as a newly remastered version of the original album (across two CDs). Four of the shows have actually been newly mixed from the original tapes. The discs are contained in a two-part outer slipcase, and the eight CDs come in card sleeves. A 24-page booklet is included and features new sleeve notes by Michael Hann who has interviewed Phil Mogg, Andy Parker and Michael Schenker. A 2LP gatefold vinyl edition is also available, and a special a clear vinyl edition limited to 1000 units. Andy Pearce has done the remastering.
