1. Queen + Adam Lambert - Live Around The World (Deluxe Edition) (2020) 48-24 Country: UK Genre: Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [48 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:19:45 Full Size: 1017.16 MB Live Around the World, Queen's first live album with Adam Lambert on vocals, was recorded over the course of the group's many world tours between 2014 and 2020. It presents the perfect opportunity to discover - or rediscover - the "Lambert phenomenon" live. At just 29 years old, he dared to walk in the footsteps of one of the greatest singers and showmen we've ever seen: Freddie Mercury. It can't have been easy trying to choose the tracks for this album but the skilful mix of unavoidable hits and rarer tracks means that it avoids falling into the trap of simply being a best of live album. Better yet, Roger Taylor, Brian May and Adam Lambert go so far as to pay tribute to Mercury by including two tracks from his solo repertoire (the moving song Love Kills - The Ballad and I Was Born to Love You). Probably stemming from the fact that Mercury's voice is completely individual, Lambert stays faithful to the Queen sound but never tries to copy him. It soon becomes clear judging from the songs here (Somebody To Love is a good example) that few people could have risen to the challenge - and done it so well. Among the record's many highlights, the brilliant version of cult favourite Under Pressure stands out, with the original Mercury/Bowie duo being replaced by Lambert and Taylor. There's also a heavy version of Now I'm Here - a track that proves that 70-year-olds still know how to bring out the big guns (check out the severely underestimated drummer Roger Taylor!). It's a given that Queen and Lambert won't write any new material. They're focusing on bringing their huge musical heritage to the stage, so we should appreciate these songs without expecting anything else. Live Around the World is a wonderful album - and a great counter-argument to people who didn't expect the band to survive without its leader. © Charlélie Arnaud/Qobuz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iH2d3zPeaV0 Download from HotLink https://www.keeplinks.org/p72/63c5881091365

11. Oasis - Be Here Now (2016 Deluxe Remastered Edition) 1997 (2016) 44.1-24 Country: UK Genre: Rock,Britpop Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 03:37:16 Full Size: 2.58 GB Arriving with the force of a hurricane, Oasis' third album, Be Here Now, is a bright, bold, colorful tour de force that simply steamrolls over any criticism. The key to Oasis' sound is its inevitability -- they are unwavering in their confidence, which means that even the hardest rockers are slow, steady, and heavy, not fast. And that self-possessed confidence, that belief in their greatness, makes Be Here Now intensely enjoyable, even though it offers no real songwriting breakthroughs. Noel Gallagher remains a remarkably talented synthesist, bringing together disparate strands -- "D'You Know What I Mean" has an N.W.A drum loop, a Zeppelin-esque wall of guitars, electronica gurgles, and lyrical allusions to the Beatles and Dylan -- to create impossibly catchy songs that sound fresh, no matter how many older songs he references. He may be working familiar territory throughout Be Here Now, but it doesn't matter because the craftsmanship is good. "The Girl in the Dirty Shirt" is irresistible pop, and epics like "Magic Pie" and "All Around the World" simply soar, while the rockers "My Big Mouth," "It's Getting Better (Man!!)," and "Be Here Now" attack with a bone-crunching force. Noel is smart enough to balance his classicist tendencies with spacious, open production, filling the album with found sounds, layers of guitars, keyboards, and strings, giving the record its humongous, immediate feel. The sprawling sound and huge melodic hooks would be enough to make Be Here Now a winner, but Liam Gallagher's vocals give the album emotional resonance. Singing better than ever, Liam injects venom into the rockers, but he also delivers the nakedly emotional lyrics of "Don't Go Away" with affecting vulnerability. That combination of violence and sensitivity gives Oasis an emotional core and makes Be Here Now a triumphant album. © Stephen Thomas Erlewine /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKsT0Z6HW5k https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyJU2136ym4 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/1c7b519a-e3f0-11ec-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e

14. Opeth - In Cauda Venenum (2022 Extended Edition) (2019) 44.1-24 Country: Sweden Genre: Progressive Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 02:45:09 Full Size: 1.82 GB In interviews before the release of In Cauda Venenum, Mikael Akerfeldt, Opeth's vocalist, guitarist, and chief songwriter, stated that "heaviness" was an aesthetic rather than a sound, to explain why he had abandoned death metal. Beginning with 2011's Heritage, Opeth made a conscious shift toward progressive rock that has, as evidenced here, become pervasive. This set is their first to be issued in English and Swedish editions. Sonically and musically, the album contains musical and production traits already evident on Heritage and Sorceress -- and to a lesser degree, on Pale Communion -- as organs, synths, Mellotron, acoustic guitars, syncopated rhythms, strings, choirs, and key changes are crafted into the band's two-guitar-bass-drum attack. But where the previous three studio albums were rife with experimentation, In Cauda Venenum is focused on a cohesively pre-arranged whole. It may be the fourth entry in their progressive evolution, but it's their first to deliver the full realization of the band's potential. These ten songs are laden with lush textures, painstakingly crafted melodies, unapologetic gothic overtones, startling dynamics, and visceral presence. Opeth may deliberately borrow inspiration from many sources, but they aren't trying to re-create them. The band recorded at Park Studios in Stockholm with all-analog gear and a goal: "to be as epic as possible." While set-opener "The Garden of Earthly Delights" is a three-and-a-half-minute Gothic intro; the first tune proper, "Dignity," is heavy as hell, with multi-tracked wordless choral choruses, swirling organs and Mellotron, sampled spoken voices, sound effects, popping drums, and spiky lead guitars. Its intense opening section gives way to fingerpicked acoustic, gently sung lyrics, and textural atmospherics before roaring back into riff-laden hard rock. "Heart on Hand," the other advance track, commences with a guitar-and-bass riff right out of "Immigrant Song," framing the cleanest, most emotionally resonant vocals in Akerfeldt's career before swirling into instrumental chaos and transforming itself into a lilting ballad in the final third. There are brutal moments here, too, in angular jams like "Charlatan," with its overdriven, filthy bassline. "Universal Truth" alternates between folk-inflected prog and spidery hard rock. The moody classical guitar and piano intro to "The Garroter" gives way to spooky, swinging dark jazz. While the sprightly keyboard and strummed guitar vamp on "Continuum" are a sinister musical perversity, they circle toward spiraling prog metal with the vocal and rhythmic section syncopations of Yes, then unwind into moody pastoral, poly-harmonic, folk-inflected Gothic rock. Though it emerges slowly, there is a biting crackle in the sweeping majesty of closer "All Things Pass." Akerfeldt's and Fredrik Akesson's guitars spiral and slash in a loss-saturated vibe colored by swirling organ, Mellotron, and crashing tom-toms, as Opeth buoy the singer whose lyric is drenched in loss and grief. On In Cauda Venenum, Opeth have thoroughly revisioned prog rock for the 21st century. While there are referents to the past, they have merely been folded into a brand of heavy music that reflects not progressive rock's history, but Opeth's enduring, evolving image. © Thom Jurek /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FiZNuETUYM Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/01e0ff19-d2d1-11ec-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e
15. Jade Warrior - Last Autumn's Dream (Remastered Edition) 1972 (2022) 44.1-24 Country: UK Genre: Progressive Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 38:30 Full Size: 395.29 MB Formed in 1970, Jade Warrior were one of the most original British bands to emerge during the Progressive Rock era. The first incarnation of Jade Warrior featured Tony Duhig (guitars) and Jon Field (flutes, percussion), both of whom had been in the Psychedelic group July, and Glyn Havard (bass, vocals). Signing to the legendary Vertigo label, the band recorded their self-titled debut album in March 1971. A remarkable work, 'Jade Warrior' would be the template upon which the band would build their unique sound - venturing stylistically between ethnic music, melodic, gentle ethereal and ambient sounds and heavier guitar driven rock. By the time of the recording of this, their third album, in 1972, the band had expanded to a quartet with drummer Allan Price adding a new character to the band's sound. 'Last Autumn's Dream' was arguably the most fully realised album by Jade Warrior during their tenure with Vertigo Records, featuring such classic tracks as 'A Winter's Tale', 'Snake', 'Dark River' and 'Borne On The Solar Wind'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCF5Q1UYfeY&list=OLAK5uy_lw9jwbQEx8sG6eDx3QOZThCPTzHOuogcU&index=7 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSTsFOyYc74 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/4ce087f8-c7d2-11ec-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e
16. Halsey - Manic (Digital Expanded Edition) (2020) 44.1-24 Country: USA Genre: Alternative,Indie Pop,Electropop Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:23:02 Full Size: 971.1 MB As they were in the throes of completing their third studio album in 2019, Halsey told Rolling Stone the record would contain "hip-hop, rock, country, f***ing everything because it's so manic. It's soooooo manic." It was so manic, Halsey decided Manic was the right title for this high-profile album, the first they've released since 2017's Hopeless Fountain Kingdom helped turn them into a regular presence at the top of the charts. As it turns out, Manic is indeed an appropriate name for an album so filled with twists and turns it feels like a double-LP crammed into the course of a 47-minute record. Such a description is slightly misleading, though, suggesting that the album contains a series of distinct shifts in mood when it is very much a record of its moment, thrumming along to the tasteful shape-shifting hybrids that populate playlists of all genres. Listen closely, certain stylistic aspects assert themselves -- a fingerpicked guitar line rolls along here, there's a reggae bounce there -- and their choice of guest stars is telling. Alanis Morissette -- who is by some measures a clear precursor to Halsey -- vies with rapper Dominic Fike and Suga of K-pop sensations BTS for the splashiest cameo, with each of their appearances labeled as an "interlude." The lack of concrete song titles winds up emphasizing the presence of artists who cross genres, a clear sign of how Manic's seemingly scattershot appearance disguises that Halsey designed the album to appeal to as broad an audience as possible, streamlining all these sounds so they slide onto every conceivable playlist. It's a shrewd ploy that winds up not seeming crass thanks to Halsey's affectless emo bloodletting -- she never resists an opportunity to hit their target squarely on the nose, such as the "I'm so glad I never ever had a baby with you" refrain on "You Should Be Sad" -- and the clever way Manic is sequenced. The artiest, wobbliest songs start the record, followed by their saddest and starkest ballads, so it takes a while before it settles into its comfortable groove of adolescent angst doubling as AAA crossover pop. Such distinctions would be lost on the playlists individual tracks may later call home, but assembled in this fashion as a proper album, Manic showcases Halsey at their nerviest and at their best. © Stephen Thomas Erlewine /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8nBFqZppIF0&list=OLAK5uy_l6QK8fTSEZec6_jvhhDu1fmdM7a7ieYf4&index=4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=moleFybTAAc Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/cb0a9c63-6fea-11ec-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e

19. Beth Hart - Better Than Home (Deluxe Edition) 2015 (2022) 88.2-24 Country: USA Genre: Blues,Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [88,2 kHz/24 bit] Time: 56:29 Full Size: 1.01 GB Better Than Home is the seventh solo studio album by American singer-songwriter Beth Hart. Hart's husband and her manager convinced her to work with the production team of Rob Mathes and Michael Stevens, whom she had met when she performed at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2012. Hart had worked with Kevin Shirley for her last three albums, but she was persuaded to try a different team and go a different direction. The production team challenged Hart to leave behind the darker themes and to "write more about my joy and what I believe in and what my love is." Hart was pushed to write songs that came from a different source, from when she was happy or having a good time. One song on the album, "Tell Her You Belong to Me", took her a year and a half to write. "Hart explores new realms on Better Than Home, both creatively and production-wise. In addition to balancing sensitive songwriting topics with moments of hope and reflection, Hart also found new producers in Michael Stevens and Rob Mathes, both of whom Hart met after performing at the Kennedy Center Honors in 2012. Better Than Home shows Hart moving forward as a musician and songwriter." (Meghan Roos, bluesrockreview.com) "Separating from producer Kevin Shirley for the first time in three records, Beth Hart chose to work with Rob Mathes and Michael Stevens for 2015's Better Than Home. A change in producers helped Hart change direction, letting her depart from the down-and-dirty blues belting she specialized in throughout her time with Shirley, reconnecting slightly to her singer/songwriter beginning while emphasizing deep soul roots. Despite opening with the tight Memphis groove of "Might as Well Smile," most of the album is grandly introspective -- majestic brooding ballads with a clear debt to early Elton John. This cinematic landscape provides a nice contrast to Hart's raw, nervy vocals, accentuating the aching in her delivery. This emotional immediacy compensates for the sometimes elliptical songs, songs that take a little while to settle, but the risks Hart's taken on Better Than Home pay off: this is a distinctive, ambitious record that takes advantage of her natural talents in surprising ways." 21. Gov't Mule - Revolution Come... Revolution Go (Deluxe Edition) (2017) 88.2-24 Country: USA Genre: Blues,Blues Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [88,2 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:53:47 Full Size: 2.15 GB In the four-year interim between Gov't Mule studio albums, guitar boss Warren Haynes has been busy: He played on the final Allman Brothers Band tour, paid tribute to Jerry Garcia with a symphony orchestra, issued an Americana-esque solo album, and played on James Cotton's Cotton Mouth Man. That said, no other music he makes resonates in the same way as what he creates with Gov't Mule (co-founder and drummer Mat Abts, keyboardist/guitarist Danny Louis, and bassist Jorgen Carlsson). Revolution Come...Revolution Go began on election night 2016. The band had their own ideas about the outcome, but as the night wore on, their worst fears came true and influenced the direction of the music here. The title doesn't pin the definition of "revolution" down to one topic, it's a verb, noun, adjective, and metaphor in Gov't Mule's dictionary; it describes everything from trends in music and social unrest to historical events and political and spiritual upheaval. The music here is heavy -- Mule heavy -- but also offers a host of other flavors and textures to expand the palette to dynamic effect. Opener "Stone Cold Rage" finds Haynes' mutating a James Gang vintage guitar vamp to suit Mule's purposes. Louis' swirling organ and Carlsson's distorted basslines are pushed forward by Abts' uncommonly funky breakbeats. The tune struts, swaggers, and pummels. "Drawn That Way" is a thundering blues-rocker that draws down on personal accountability. The musical change-ups here make this a standout. There's the slow, soulful "Pressure Under Fire" -- an exhortation to refute the mistakes of the past with collective tolerance and respect which contains an authority worthy of an Old Testament prophet. Likewise, the gospel-tinged R&B of "The Man I Want to Be," the Muscle Shoals-styled country of "Dreams & Songs," and the gritty, jazzy soul-funk of "Sarah, Surrender" offer different dimensions of the Southern-crusted rockist blues that is Gov't Mule's trademark. The latter tune contains Haynes' finest vocal performance on this or any other record he's been on, and he's assisted by the backing trio of Alecia Chakour, Jasmine Muhammad, and Bobby Allende. The abstract blues-jazz title track is bound to become a live staple for its suite-like structure. Guitarist Jimmie Vaughan lends a hand in adding earth to Haynes' fire on the psychedelic blues "Burning Point." The set closes with Carlsson's arrangement of Blind Willie Johnson's "Dark Was the Night Cold Was the Ground." It commences as a moaning drone, with slide guitar, piano, woozy bass, and rumbling drums, but erupts in a mind-melting, screaming Hendrixian blues overloaded with wah-wah and slide guitars for an apocalyptic finish. Revolution Come... Revolution Go is easily Gov't Mule's most urgent record, but their call to arms isn't preachy; instead, righteous anger is refracted through the lens of empathy. It is also a fresh reboot of the band's sound, offering excellent songwriting and arrangements; it sounds more like a group effort than anything they've released. The message is that the revolution is within you: Hear it, believe it, become it. © Thom Jurek /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKqaqpi5T-A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIyjR4OxVns&list=OLAK5uy_nnR744FqH4B8j_tPKAeCfATee6tEA8kmc&index=8 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/f4434aef-4389-11ec-a971-0cc47ac4f47e
22. Voivod - The Wake (Deluxe Edition) (2018) 48-24 Country: Canada Genre: Progressive Thrash Metal Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [48 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:28:40 Full Size: 1.13 GB In 2018, Voivod's 14th studio album, The Wake, is upon us. The band's original members, drummer Michel "Away" Langevin and vocalist Denis "Snake" Belanger, find themselves reinvigorated and reenergized by the presence of guitarist Daniel "Chewy" Mongrain and new bassist Dominic "Rocky" Laroche. Mongrain, now celebrating ten years in the band, has done a more than respectable job replacing original guitarist, the ever-beloved Denis "Piggy" D'Amour. His contribution to the making of The Wake was as integral to the new album as was Piggy's leadership during his reign. The Wake steers the Voivod spacecraft through a tangled, tantalizing storyline, woven into the most maze-like, edge-of-your-seat musical experience the band have embarked upon since those heady days of the late '80s. Songs such as "The End of Dormancy," "Iconspiracy" and "Spherical Perspective" churn and twist in such a way that no Voivod devotee could possibly have wished for more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCuSHngMy-g Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/fc9f9706-8a73-11ec-a2c7-0cc47ac4f47e
23. Tears For Fears - The Tipping Point (Limited edition) (2022) [5.1] 48-24 Country: UK Genre: Synthpop, New Wave, Alternative Rock, Pop Rock Format: FLAC 5.1 (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [48 kHz/24 bit] Time: 42:03 Full Size: 1.25 GB For their first album in 18 years, Tears for Fears sound completely revitalized and as beautiful and engaging as ever. Remarkably, it's fueled in part by the 2017 death of Roland Orzabal's wife and partner of many years and his denial about losing her. "I think that when you've been close to someone for decades, they are living within you as well as without," he has said. "And consciously I did not believe she would die, though subconsciously I was, without doubt, preparing for the inevitable, arming myself against the future shock." The title track is shimmering and mysterious, with strident drums and alien beeps but also vocals like a soothing balm. "Winter done, they'll soon be gone/ From this unforgiving place/ To that vague and distant void/ Where the sunlight splits the eye," Orzabal sings of that threshold from life to death. It is heartbreaking, but also hopeful. "Please Be Happy" is incredibly candid-and one of their prettiest tracks: "These days it's like a wave is breaking over you/ Dragging you in with the undertow/ If you lay among the graves you will see other ghosts." And "No Small Thing," about facing the heartbreak of losing your love, is a stunner. Stripped-back acoustic guitar builds to the dreamy psychedelia Tears for Fears has always done so well, the whole thing swelling to a bursting-the-seams crescendo by the end. "Long, Long, Long Time" shows how the duo have always been masters of dynamics, its hymn-like organ giving way to a monster chorus; the song also reminds you just how much Sam Smith owes Curt Smith for their angelic style. "Master Plan" giddily dips into the band's longtime love of Sgt. Pepper-era Beatles, and "Break the Man" is catchy jangle pop touched with moody strings. "My Demons," meanwhile, is a nasty piece of work, in the best way (one akin to Depeche Mode's "Personal Jesus"), with Orzabal drilling the doomed lyrics: "Why is my name in lights when my name is spelled wrong . People always find you when your cell phone is on." Smith comes in to sweeten up the chorus, but he sounds thrillingly stretched to his limits as the rhythm gallops like a sweating horse. 25. Karen Dalton - In My Own Time (50th Anniversary Edition) 1971 (2022) Country: USA Genre: Folk, Country,Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:06:26 Full Size: 1.17 GB A half-century after the release of Karen Dalton's cult classic second album, In My Own Time sounds as magical as it always has; it was never-despite the album's title-that she was ahead of her time, but rather not of this world. Which is not to say she was some ethereal creature. After a whole life lived in her teenage years, married twice and with two kids, Dalton moved from Oklahoma to New York City to be part of the Greenwich Village 1960s folk scene alongside the likes of Tim Hardin and Neil Young. Bob Dylan called her one of his favorites, saying "Karen had a voice like Billie Holiday." She reportedly hated the comparison, though you get why Dylan made it: it's the weary ache and that slim silver thread of hope that remains. You can hear it on her cover of George Jones' "Take Me;" the piano flutters like it needs a fainting couch, but Dalton turns the quiet plea into something wistful rather than desperate. "Take me to Siberia and the coldest weather of the winter time/ And it would be just like spring in California," she sings, drawing out that last word like it's some impossible oasis. (By then, Dalton had had two teeth knocked out in a fight between boyfriends.) It's in her jaunty delivery of the Holland-Dozier-Holland's "How Sweet It is" and her interpretation of Richard Manuel's psychedelic country-rock "In a Station," Dalton blowing like wind through some desolate space. And lord knows it's in her most famous song, the Scottish folk traditional "Katie Cruel." Helped along by high-lonesome banjo, it's as haunted as they come. "When I first came to town, they called me the roving jewel," Dalton sings, managing to make it sound like she's not broken by it all. "Now they've changed their tune, call me Katie Cruel." Credit her wavery, light-refracted voice and the way it reflects both a fragility of nature and a hardscrabble strength of circumstance. (While the story of folkie Fred Neil secretly recording Dalton's first album by not telling her the tape was running has been romanticized, it's also exploitative and manipulative.) Dalton, who would disappear after In My Own Time, battled heroin and alcohol addiction and died at age 55 after an AIDS diagnosis. But her influence carries on, in Angel Olsen, Lucinda Williams, Sharon Van Etten, Courtney Barnett and Nick Cave, to name a few. This new expanded and remastered edition includes alternate takes of "In My Own Dream," "Something on Your Mind" and "Katie Cruel." The latter two light a small fire under the beat, but find Dalton less declarative, like she's consoling a friend in hushed tones. There are also several live tracks. "Take Me," captured in April 1971 in Germany, is so intimate it's disarming, Dalton's voice cracking on the line "like heaven to me." But there is strength-an almost defiance-on the songs from her Montreaux performance a month later, even in "Blues on the Ceiling" when she predicts she'll "Never get out of these blues alive." © Shelly Ridenour/Qobuz https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Na6XVgIvkeA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzkhFFvLWEA&list=OLAK5uy_ntErliJaccbqaxE4lb3NjuXu8Kev84_S0&index=7 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/v6mes27i6fck/Karen.Dalton.-.In.My.Own.Time.50th.Anniversary.Edition.1971.2022.rar
