  3. Frank Zappa - Sheik Yerbouti 1979 (2021) [192kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Progressive Rock,Jazz Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:11:36 Full Size: 3.48 GB Originally released in 1979, Sheik Yerbouti was Zappa's first album to be released on Zappa Records and contains the FM radio hits 'Dancin' Foot' and 'Bobby Brown' amongst others. Sheik Yerbouti represented a major turning point in Zappa's career. It emphasized the comedic aspect of his lyrics more than ever before, beginning a period of increased record sales and mainstream media attention. Sheik Yerbouti remains Zappa's biggest selling album worldwide with over two million units sold to date. The title is a play on words; Zappa appears on the cover in character in Arab headdress, and the name, meant to resemble an Arabic transcription, is pronounced like the title of KC and the Sunshine Band's 1976 disco hit "Shake Your Booty". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_uaKdGZ8Fo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiQPkfS2Q84 https://daofile.com/go/zyt7rxnd14s4
  4. Frank Zappa - Zoot Allures 1976 (2021) [192kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Progressive Rock,Jazz Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 42:25 Full Size: 2.11 GB Zoot Allures is a 1976 rock album by Frank Zappa. This was Zappa's only release on the Warner Bros. Records label. Due to a lawsuit with his former manager, Herb Cohen, Frank Zappa's recording contract was temporarily reassigned from DiscReet Records to Warner Bros. The album was originally conceptualized as a double LP, but Zappa rearranged, edited, and shortened the track listing to what was eventually released as a single album. Zappa recorded the album after completing a world tour with a band including Napoleon Murphy Brock on tenor sax and vocals, Andre Lewis on keyboards, Roy Estrada on bass and Terry Bozzio on drums. However, this band appeared only on the live track "Black Napkins" with only Bozzio retained to play on the sessions, although Lewis and Estrada contributed backing vocals. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VInuvlshJ4M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvTyL_Sbyn8 https://daofile.com/go/zyt7rxnd14s4
  5. Peter Frampton - Frampton 1975 (2021) [96kHz/24bit] Country: UK Genre: Classic Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24bit] Time: 38:42 Full Size: 823.65 MB Frampton is the fourth studio album by English rock musician Peter Frampton, released in 1975 before he went on tour and recorded Frampton Comes Alive! The most popular songs from the album are "Show Me the Way" and "Baby, I Love Your Way" which became big hits when released as singles from Frampton Comes Alive! The album peaked at #32 on the Billboard 200. The 1975 album is a fascinating record of what was happening immediately before the English singer-guitarist's solo career went stratospheric. This was the album that proved to be the breakthrough for Peter Frampton in America. Frampton was released in early March 1975, just before Peter's 25th birthday, as the fourth solo album by the former member of the Herd and Humble Pie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qh4zqMMaRlA&list=RDsDTi9z797Sg&index=9 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDTi9z797Sg&list=PL8a8cutYP7frOpMOujAXctrL240qNogaP&index=5 https://daofile.com/go/tqqhjcgfehxs
  6. The Mothers Of Invention (Frank Zappa) - Weasels Ripped My Flesh 1970 (2021) [192kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Blues Rock,Free Jazz,Fusion,Avantgarde Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 39:42 Full Size: 1.69 GB Weasels Ripped My Flesh is the tenth studio album by the Mothers of Invention, released in 1970. It is the second posthumous Mothers album released after the band disbanded in 1969, preceded by Burnt Weeny Sandwich. In contrast to it's predecessor, which predominately focused on studio recordings of tightly arranged compositions, Weasels Ripped My Flesh largely consists of live recordings and features more improvisation. Whereas all but one of the pieces on Burnt Weeny Sandwich have a more planned feel captured by quality studio equipment, five tracks from Weasels Ripped My Flesh capture the Mothers on stage, where they employ frenetic and chaotic improvisation characteristic of avant-garde jazz and free jazz. This is particularly evident on "Eric Dolphy Memorial Barbecue," a tribute to the multi-instrumentalist, cited as a musical influence in the liner notes to the band's Freak Out! Album, who died in 1964. The album also documents the brief tenure of Lowell George (guitar and vocals), who went on to found the country-rock band Little Feat with Mothers bassist Roy Estrada. On "Didja Get Any Onya", George affects a German accent to relate a story of being a small boy in Germany and seeing "a lot of people stand around on the corners asking questions, 'Why are you standing on the corner, acting the way you act, looking the way you look, why do you look that way?'" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KB3HdC-Iums https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OP-cQa3eEZk https://daofile.com/go/zyt7rxnd14s4

  9. Frank Zappa - Apostrophe(') 1974 (2021) [96kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Progressive Rock,Jazz Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 31:51 Full Size: 675.03 MB Featuring definitive Zappa cuts ?Don?t Eat The Yellow Snow? and ?Cosmik Debris? among its original nine tracks, Apostrophe(?) was Zappa?s highest-charting album, peaking at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. The Gold-certified album has been remastered for vinyl by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering and manufactured for the world at Pallas Group in Germany. Apostrophe (') is an album by Frank Zappa, his eighteenth, released on March 22, 1974. An edited version of its lead-off track, "Don't Eat the Yellow Snow," was Zappa's first chart single, reaching position 86. Apostrophe (') remains Zappa's biggest commercial success in the US. It was certified Gold by the RIAA on April 7, 1976. The album also peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Charts and would end up becoming Zappa's highest-charting album. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-p2z8TLRNUQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKzRGcozrKg&list=OLAK5uy_nc9HYIpWVA-HxyhWxcm3OyTEWiyaByx7Y&index=4 https://daofile.com/go/zyt7rxnd14s4
  10. Frank Zappa - Chunga's Revenge 1970 (2021) [192kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Progressive Rock,Jazz Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 40:22 Full Size: 2.01 GB The album introduced a new Mothers of Invention lineup that included former Turtles members Howard Kaylan and Mark Volman, aka Flo and Eddie, as well as keyboardist George Duke, drummer Aynsley Dunbar and multi-instrumentalist Ian Underwood. Frank Zappa's third album within the space of a year, 'Chunga's Revenge' ranges from hard rock to doo-wop and the avant-garde, standing the test of time. "Chunga's Revenge marks the debut of Mark Volman and Howard Kaylan (among several other musicians) with the Mothers, and while their schtick has not reached the graphic proportions it later would, the thematic obsessions of the 200 Motels period are foreshadowed on tracks like "Road Ladies" and "Would You Go All the Way?" Other vocal numbers include the hard-rocking "Tell Me You Love Me," the musicians' union satire "Rudy Wants to Buy Yez a Drink," and the doo wop-influenced "Sharleena." Meanwhile, Frank Zappa's strong instrumental music incorporates Eastern European influences ("Transylvania Boogie"), cocktail jazz ("Twenty Small Cigars"), and the percussion-only "The Clap." Zappa's guitar tone is wonderfully biting and nasty throughout; George Duke provides another musical highlight by scat-singing a "drum solo." The re-release includes a double album being a remastered of the original master tapes. Also featuring live tracks from their 1996 show in Prague. Led by the lead single, "Geek Stink Breath", the band's fourth studio set reached No. 2 on the US Billboard 200 on its way to sales of more than 2 million copies in the country. Insomniac is the fourth studio album by American rock band Green Day, released on October 10, 1995 by Reprise Records. It was recorded at Hyde Street in San Francisco, and the band prioritized high-energy takes during the recording sessions. Released as the follow-up to the band's multi-platinum breakthrough Dookie, Insomniac featured a heavier and more "punk" sound, and bleaker lyrics than its predecessor. Lyrically, the album discusses themes such as alienation, anxiety, boredom, and drug use. Insomniac also served as a reaction to many early fans who had turned their backs on the band after it achieved mainstream success with Dookie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hdUExsv8lwA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUxCCbodYDw&list=RDhdUExsv8lwA&index=2 https://www.keeplinks.org/p72/63d2afba4a12a

  21. Mustafa Khetty, Morpheus Project - Mozaick (2021) [44.1kHz/24bit] Country: Multinational Genre: Eclectic Progressive Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/ 24 bit] Time: 46:50 Full Size: 506.16 MB In a superficial way Mozaick could be called a progressive rock album but this is progressive music imbued with a myriad of other influences. To understand those influences, it is worth considering the background of Mustafa Khetty who is the man behind The Morpheus Project. Khetty is sometimes described as a composer because of his ventures in the realm of classical music. Those influences can be heard here, but whereas the 70s prog bands were influenced by well-known classical music from the 17th to 20th centuries, Khetty's classical influences are contemporary with elements of Glass, Richter and Einaudi in his music. Khetty is also well travelled, having been born in Sri Lanka and having lived in the Middle and Far East as well as the UK and Ireland, so the sounds of those regions of the world creep into his music too. By throwing all these musical styles and influences into the mixer, Khetty does risk producing a horrible hotch-potch but he skillfully heads that off by avoiding mixing too many styles within any one track. The word 'unique' is overused in the music industry, what Mustafa Khetty has produced here with The Morpheus Project is 100% unique and well worth listening to. For prog fans looking for something new and fresh, this will be a treat! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlfGW7fPyR4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZ0tYifX3bE http://dsht.link/d/4uPI

  24. Saxon - Inspirations (2021) [48kHz/24bit] Country: UK Genre: Hard Rock,Heavy Metal Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [48 kHz/ 24 bit] Time: 36:25 Full Size: 496.32 MB British Heavy Metal legends Saxon will deliver a full-roar-fun-down set of covers with their latest album "Inspirations", which drops a brand new 11 track release featuring some of the superb classic rock songs that influenced Biff Byford & the band. "We wanted to do an album based on our influences, the songs and bands that inspired us to write what we did and still do", continues Byford, "and it was also interesting to see what my voice could do as I haven't sung many of these songs before". Byford does, indeed, take on some new vocal challenges, which he duly smashes on the likes of Thin Lizzy's "The Rocker". The net result is that whether cranking up a heavyweight take on Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" or throwing down AC/DC's "Problem Child", Saxon does a supreme job of entertaining both themselves and their audience throughout "Inspirations". "We didn't want to change any of the songs too much, just play them more like Saxon", concludes Byford, "and we also think it's very important to have - and share with the fans - some fun in these dark times". You want even more proof of the validity behind that statement? Wrap your ears around their sparkling take on Toto's "Hold the Line" and consider Saxon's Inspirations a mission accomplished. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-yhcuMQNxk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3h4LdiM4C8w https://daofile.com/go/rb4okwl7j7ua
  25. Ledfoot - Black Valley (2021) [44.1kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Blues Rock,Blues Quality: FLAC (*tracks) Bitrate: Lossless [44.1kHz/24bit] Time: 0:35:20 Full Size: 383.6 MB Black Valley is Ledfoot's fifth studio album, and follow up to White Crow which was awarded the Spellemann (Norwegian Grammy) for 'Best Blues Album' in 2019. The signature sound of Ledfoot is present on Black Valley the work but with a stronger attitude and with lyrics and a sound closer to the murder ballad tradition. The brilliant lyrics explore the darker side of the mind. From "Broken eyes": Let's not talk about the future I don't need it fucking with my mind I?m not chasing after rainbows I'm colorblind LEDFOOT came into existence in 2006, when Tim put together the different techniques from over 30 years of playing and combined a 12-string guitar with steel fingerpicks, a brass slide, open-tunings, very heavy strings, and a stompbox. Mixing this with a darkly lyrical and melodic sense, he dubbed it 'Gothic Blues'. Since then, Ledfoot has released four albums and has toured England, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Holland, and the U.S. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJ_guRZgJ0k&t=101s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LM3JW3tE_94 http://dsht.link/d/4tQU
