Insieme a suo padre, che aveva lasciato il suo lavoro come salario, Toyokawa Himeno si trasferisce nella città di Tajimi, nella prefettura di Gifu. È la città da cui proviene sua madre, che aveva perso quando era ancora giovane. Himeno ora sta frequentando l'alma mater di sua madre, dove la sua compagna di classe Kukuri Mika la invita ad accompagnarla in un posto speciale. Quel posto risulta essere il club della ceramica! Lì apprende per la prima volta che sua madre era una leggendaria ceramista e di conseguenza viene trascinata nel mondo della ceramica.
