8. Frank Zappa - Zappa (2020) BDRip 1080p Genre: Art Rock | Documentary | Biography Quality: BDRip | 1080p Format: MKV | 9818kbps Length: 02:07:55 | 9.90Gb Video: H.264 | 1920x1080 | 16:9 | 23.976fps Audio: DTS | 1509kbps | 48kHz | 6 channels: Front: L C R, Surround: L R With unfettered access to the Zappa family trust and all archival footage, ZAPPA explores the private life behind the mammoth musical career that never shied away from the political turbulence of its time. Alex Winter's assembly features appearances by Frank's widow Gail Zappa and several of Frank's musical collaborators including Mike Keneally, Ian Underwood, Steve Vai, Pamela Des Barres, Bunk Gardner, David Harrington, Scott Thunes, Ruth Underwood, Ray White and others. Director's statement: It seemed striking to me and producer Glen Zipper that there had yet to be a definitive, all-access documentary on the life and times of Frank Zappa. We set out to make that film, to tell a story that is not a music doc, or a conventional biopic, but the dramatic saga of a great American artist and thinker; a film that would set out to convey the scope of Zappa's prodigious and varied creative output, and the breadth of his extraordinary personal and political life. First and foremost, I wanted to make a very human, universal cinematic experience about an extraordinary individual. What helped make this vision possible was Gail Zappa granting us exclusive access to Zappa's vault; a vast collection of his unreleased music, movies, incomplete projects, unseen interviews and unheard concert recordings. With this wealth of material, and the minimal addition of present-day interviews with Frank's closest friends and musical collaborators, we built a narrative that is both intimate and epic in scope. via ddownload.com, rapidgator.net, wrzucaj.pl https://rapidgator.net/file/01604f592e9f6dd56721fa76428c6993 https://rapidgator.net/file/3c28c2c5133f2e9627b4f82276c1ede6 https://rapidgator.net/file/ee404d18d1addf9683dde3acf71cdc99 https://rapidgator.net/file/0ff5d60e6d9176b80ddc4d54b1d05b75 https://rapidgator.net/file/8a65a52ff9bffd782cef8d85570a770d https://rapidgator.net/file/8a759ae03b6ffecd936e3368fac56d91 https://rapidgator.net/file/047526f07e64b318eea08c6b69039703 https://rapidgator.net/file/b4ce094b369d13c07efb7f7f1543f8a7 https://rapidgator.net/file/73a17c0d9aeaee00b524ceb8cef04aa1 https://rapidgator.net/file/0571bc5c1f60532f17b1fbda02b40c61 https://ddownload.com/rqe6k36nwalt/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part01.rar https://ddownload.com/x7cdjmpjy8gz/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part02.rar https://ddownload.com/ksjsxo6xazlb/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part03.rar https://ddownload.com/b693zvpacbbv/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part04.rar https://ddownload.com/5sxpf23xix58/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part05.rar https://ddownload.com/zbc3x3uecd9d/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part06.rar https://ddownload.com/bgtx27u3xu3e/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part07.rar https://ddownload.com/ohhgvowi78iy/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part08.rar https://ddownload.com/x8k7hpsd6q3g/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part09.rar https://ddownload.com/v6rqba8p88d2/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part10.rar https://wrzucaj.pl/0c4b23d7f570a24b/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part02.rar https://wrzucaj.pl/e1434f5174f95e50/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part03.rar https://wrzucaj.pl/a1254cc0c42bdf10/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part04.rar https://wrzucaj.pl/82103e96e8f92a8e/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part05.rar https://wrzucaj.pl/323a13b2fa125698/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part06.rar https://wrzucaj.pl/a0cbb27913d7e0a5/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part07.rar https://wrzucaj.pl/96005708fed80522/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part08.rar https://wrzucaj.pl/e19aa2eda0d07b55/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part09.rar https://wrzucaj.pl/0aae0bd35c217f51/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part10.rar https://wrzucaj.pl/ecf9f7d2e0b1ec91/Frank.Zappa.2020.BDRip.1080p.mkv.part01.rar

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of this endeavor, 'Waka/Wazoo' documents the recording sessions with outtakes and oddities. Also included is a live show from the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco on 12/15/72, plus the unreleased Zappa-produced George Duke demos. 12. Frank Zappa - The Grand Wazoo 1972 (2022) 192-24 Country: USA Genre: Jazz Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192kHz/24 bit] Time: 36:59 Full Size: 1.49 GB "Waka-Jawaka" and "The grand wazoo" were recorded during the same sessions. For "Waka/Jawaka" the set-up of the band is mostly like a smaller jazz combo. That this album can occasionally sound as a big band nevertheless is due to the frequent overdubbing. Sal Marquez for instance gets credited for "many trumpets" during "Big swifty". "The grand wazoo" can be more truly using a big band, a band with which Zappa also made a short tour. In full the band ultimately involved twenty members. Both 1972 jazz albums have extended solos as well as large composed sections. Several blocks are relatively stable in their use of keys. More like "King Kong" than the modernistic "Uncle Meat main title" and the "It must be a camel" examples from the preceding sections. "For Calvin" on the other hand is very versatile. Despite of the quality of these albums, Zappa has not become well known as a jazz arranger. "Like its immediate predecessor, Waka/Jawaka, The Grand Wazoo was a largely instrumental jazz rock album recorded during Frank Zappa's convalescence from injuries sustained after being pushed off a concert stage. While Zappa contributes some guitar solos and occasional vocals, the focus is more on his skills as a composer and arranger. Most of the five selections supposedly form a musical representation of a story told in the liner notes about two warring musical factions, but the bottom line is that, overall, the compositions here are more memorably melodic and consistently engaging than Waka/Jawaka. The instrumentation is somewhat unique in the Zappa catalog as well, with the band more of a chamber jazz orchestra than a compact rock unit; over 20 musicians and vocalists contribute to the record. While Hot Rats is still the peak of Zappa's jazz-rock fusion efforts, The Grand Wazoo comes close, and it's essential for anyone interested in Zappa's instrumental works." 13. Frank Zappa - Waka / Jawaka 1972 (2022) 192-24 Country: USA Genre: Jazz Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192kHz/24 bit] Time: 36:09 Full Size: 1.44 GB When Frank Zappa found himself stuck in a wheelchair for most of the year 1972 (after a "fan" pushed him off the stage in December of the previous year), he relieved his band (including singers Flo & Eddie) of its duties and turned to studio work. One of the first things he tried was to write jazz fusion music scored for wider instrumentation than an average rock band. Waka/Jawaka was conceived in parallel to The Grand Wazoo, but with fewer players. The album, released in July 1972, is comprised of two extended instrumental pieces and two shorter songs. "Big Swifty," a theme-and-solos showcase, would become a live favorite, but the highlight came in the form of the orgiastic title track, recorded with ex-Mothers of Invention keyboardist Don Preston, trumpeter Sal Marquez, trombonists Bill Byers and Ken Shroyer, saxophonist Mike Altschul, bassist Erroneous, and drummer Aynsley Dunbar. The songs, never performed live, feel like filler material. Waka/Jawaka was Zappa's second solo album and is occasionally referred to as "Hot Rats II" (the handles of the faucets on the cover artwork show the words "hot" and "rats" instead of "hot" and "cold"). His writing and recording technique had matured a lot in very little time. The dirty blues jamming of the 1969 LP was replaced by clean, crisp jazz improvisations -- no need to say this was also an abrupt change in style from the Mothers' 1969-1971 incarnation. But this album was only transitional: Zappa's big-band stylings would really flourish in The Grand Wazoo a few months later. © Francois Couture /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxVmRg4faWM Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/f4f6acaa-abdf-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e

 16. Frank Zappa - Waka-Wazoo (2022) 96-24 Country: USA Genre: Avant-Prog, Jazz fusion, Progressive rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96kHz/24 bit] Time: 04:20:09 Full Size: 5.63 GB During the aftermath of being pushed off the stage at the Rainbow Theatre in London, England, FZ found himself recuperating for months in his home in Laurel Canyon. Although he was confined to a wheelchair, his work ethic could not be tamed. During this time, he managed, among other things, to assemble an ensemble that quenched his thirst and desire to work with a large "Electric Orchestra." Ultimately, a 20-piece group was contracted, along with recording sessions and an 8-city tour. Shortly thereafter, a scaled down 10-piece configuration, now known as the "Petit Wazoo" toured for almost two months. After all was said and done, FZ finished the experiment with two albums in the can, Waka/Jawaka & The Grand Wazoo, plus two tours and an archive of show masters in his Vault. It was a monumental feat for a guy with a cast on his leg and a conductor's baton in his hand. The Waka/Wazoo box set features a complete historical run-down of the entire project, featuring alternate takes of almost every composition recorded during the album sessions, along with Vault mix session outtakes and oddities. Also included is the full final show of the 10-piece tour, recorded at the famous Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco on December 15, 1972. The Blu-ray Audio disc features both albums with brand-new, first-time-ever Atmos and 5.1 mixes from the original multi-tracks and the 96kHz 24-bit high-resolution stereo remasters. Finally, during the album recording sessions at Paramount Studios, FZ worked with George Duke on some of Duke's solo material. These demos were produced by Zappa, who also played guitar. Although George would go on to re-record the compositions for his own albums, the versions with FZ have never been officially issued until now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7vsNugt55g https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbTbiqWY_Qo Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/f4f6acaa-abdf-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e

But before we could set about making the film, we needed to preserve a great deal of material from the vault that was deteriorating and in great danger of being lost forever. So we created a crowdfunding campaign, and were lucky to break funding records for a documentary related project. And thus began an exhaustive, two year mission to preserve and archive the vault materials. When this was completed, we set about making the film. Frank Zappa was not only a creative genius, but also a great and eloquent thinker who articulated the madness of his times with extraordinary clarity and wit. A legitimate maverick who lived and worked amongst other extraordinary people in historic times. Ultimately, ZAPPA is not a retro trip into the past, but a thoroughly modern exploration of a man whose worldview, art and politics were far ahead of their time, and profoundly relevant in our challenging times. The Mothers of Invention Yugoslavian Extravaganza, as Zappa called it, took place in Zagreb and Ljubljana (now the capital cities of Croatia and Slovenia respectively) on Nov. 21 and 22, 1975 with the short-lived and slightly stripped-down lineup of Andre Lewis (keyboards), Napoleon Murphy Brock (tenor sax and lead vocals), Norma Bell (alto sax, vocals), Roy Estrada (bass) and Terry Bozzio (drums). In characteristic Zappa fashion, The Maestro made sure to record these historical shows behind the Iron Curtain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tc-ikJxknwY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Le6YD6z-LuY Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/f4f6acaa-abdf-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e

 25. Frank Zappa - Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar (2021) [192kHz/24bit] Country: USA Genre: Progressive Rock,Jazz Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:47:11 Full Size: 5.3 GB While most of the discussions of Frank Zappa have to do with his satirical and off-color lyrics, the fact remains that he was one of the finest and most underappreciated guitarists around. This collection places the spotlight squarely on Zappa's mastery of the guitar. Recorded for the most part in 1979 and 1980 (with a few tracks dating as far back as 1977), Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar is simply a collection of guitar solos. Even though most of the tracks were just edited out of their original song context, they fare well as stand-alone pieces, as Zappa was an ever-inventive player. Take, for example, the three versions of "Shut Up." These tracks were simply the guitar solos from "Inca Roads," but thanks to Zappa's ability for "instant composition," each version has its own complete story to tell, without ever being redundant. Other highlights are the reggae-tinged "Treacherous Cretins" and the beautiful "Pink Napkins." In addition to the electric guitar mangling contained on Shut Up 'n Play Yer Guitar, there are a couple of rare tracks that feature Zappa on acoustic guitar in a trio with Warren Cuccurullo on acoustic rhythm guitar and Vinnie Colaiuta on drums. In fact, special mention goes to Colaiuta for his polyrhythmic daring all over this album. All bandmembers play great throughout, but Colaiuta's playing is mind blowing. The album closes with another oddity: a gorgeous duet between Zappa on electric bouzouki and Jean-Luc Ponty on baritone violin. This is an album that should be heard by anyone who's into guitar playing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkLr8_Lp-aE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMpzB9AjRzU&list=PL8klFiOgynWBFM-JVlcglB7zMF5k8Avpv&index=6 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/f4f6acaa-abdf-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e Download from DaoFile https://www.keeplinks.org/p72/66b1001550576
