3. Jean Michel Jarre - The Concerts in China (40th Anniversary - Remastered Edition) (2022) 48-24 Country: France Genre: Ambient, Techno Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [48kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:18:45 Full Size: 975.42 MB 40th Anniversary: In 1981 Jarre was invited by the Chinese government to perform five concerts in what was then a very closed country. The five indoor stadium concerts took place respectively in Beijing (two concerts) and Shanghai (three concerts), and the French musician had composed no fewer than seven new pieces especially for them which, stylistically, moved from electro over ambient to Chinese traditional music. "To this day The Concerts in China experience remains to be probably the most surreal and poetic of all my experiences. It was an honour to be the first Western musician to play live in the country at that time and it was like visiting another planet for me; and also for the Chinese audience too it seemed to be the same curious awe (.) I have revisited China very often out of a passion for their culture and have performed there since, at The Forbidden City and on Tiananmen Square. I am delighted that 'The Concerts in China' album has been remastered, as it's something I'm incredibly proud of and remains a testimony of my ongoing attachment to China." Organizing the concerts was a major project in itself, not least due to the cultural differences connected with the official concert tradition in China. The audience at the first show was exclusively comprised of military personnel and for this reason Jarre handed-out tickets to the citizens in the street to enable them also to share the other shows. It has been said that 500 million Chinese listened to the concerts live on the radio when Jarre, as the first Western musician invited officially, performed in early post-Mao China. As a pioneer in electronic music and a UNESCO ambassador for education, science and culture, Jarre's back catalog includes 22 studio albums, which have sold more than 85 million units worldwide, and earned him numerous awards and nominations. He has also set several Guinness World Records for live audience attendance at concerts in several iconic locations, performing at the Forbidden City in Beijing, the Great Pyramids in Egypt, the Sahara Desert, the Eiffel Tower, and the Dead Sea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BY_ozF-4IAU Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/1b16559a-26bb-11ec-a971-0cc47ac4f47e
4. Jean Michel Jarre - OXYMORE (2022) 48-24 Country: France Genre: Techno.Electronic Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [48kHz/24 bit] Time: 48:59 Full Size: 598.67 MB Electronic music pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre releases his 22nd studio album OXYMORE, and one of his most ambitious projects to date. OXYMORE is an homage to the late French composer Pierre Henry, with whom Jarre had been intending on collaborating for Jarre's GRAMMY-nominated project album 'Electronica'. Henry was an iconic figure in electronic and classical music, and one of Jarre's mentors at the Groupe de Recherche Musical (GRM) where he studied. Since his death in 2017, Henry's widow provided Jarre with some stems of material which had been intended for use in this collaboration. OXYMORE is a musical journey where Pierre Henry's sounds interact with Jarre's new composition in a sonic game of mirrors, where the creator of Oxygene finds his inverted doppelganger in OXYMORE, opening a vortex that sucks the listener into an anachronistic back-and-forth where analogue and digital find a common playground. The project is inspired by the French movement 'musique concrete' (concrete music), a genre of music composition that utilises recorded sounds as raw material. The movement was first developed in the 1940s and went on to revolutionise the way music is produced. With 'OXYMORE', Jarre takes this concept and reinvents it with the tools of today. Jean-Michel Jarre has always been a futurist in his field. Throughout his illustrious career, the composer, performer, producer and cultural ambassador has continued to break new ground with his music and his mastery of creative innovation. From his early pioneering role in electronic music, his use of multi-channel audio technology and production, to his recent explorations into the realms of VR performance and the metaverse, technology is at the forefront of everything he does. He is quoted as claiming that "today is the most exciting time to create, to make music, and to share across so many mediums". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoyhIbeu0Hk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpHOxORMdFA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFjAwG_WjA0 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/1b16559a-26bb-11ec-a971-0cc47ac4f47e

11. Jean Michel Jarre - Amazônia (2021) [48kHz/24bit] Country: France Genre: Electronic Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [48 kHz/24 bit] Time: 52:44 Full Size: 631.16 MB JMJ created the music to the vision of Sebastiao Salgado Jean-Michel Jarre has composed and recorded a 52 minute musical score for "Amazônia", a new project by award winning photographer and filmmaker Sebastião Salgado, for the Philharmonic Paris. The exhibition launches on April 7th and will later travel to South America, Roma and London. "Amazônia" is an immersive exhibition focussing on the Brazilian Amazon, featuring more than 200 photographs and other media by Salgado. He travelled the region for six years, capturing the forest, the rivers, the mountains and the people who live there, and most of the work will be seen publicly for the first time. At the heart of the exhibit is an invitation to see, hear and think about the future of biodiversity and the place of humans in the living world. JMJs accompanying sound-creation is a symphonic world which will engulf visitors to the exhibit in the sounds of the forest. Using a blend of electronic and orchestral instruments with other real-life natural sounds, the score has also been recorded in binaural audio, for a truly immersive experience. "I wanted to avoid the ethnomusicological approach, or creating background music. So I conceived a sort of toolbox containing musical elements - orchestral and electronic - intended to recreate or evoke the timbre of natural sounds, to which I added sounds from the environment, and finally ethnic sources (voices, songs, and instruments) from the sound archives of the Ethnography Museum of Geneva (MEG). I approached the Amazon with respect, in a poetic and impressionistic way. I chose the vocal and sound elements in their evocative dimension, rather than trying to be faithful to a particular ethnic group. It seemed interesting to me to fantasise the forest. It carries with it a powerful imagination; for both Westerners and Amerindians. This music also evokes a form of nomadism, as if sounds appear and disappear during a migration. It was necessary to go back to the principles of orchestration of the sounds of nature, to work from sounds which follow one another randomly, but which can compose a harmony or a dissonance. And as in any symphony, the work has moments of clarity or tension." 16. Jean Michel Jarre - Les Chants Magnetigues (1981) [2015] [96kHz/24bit] Country: France Genre: Electronic Quality: FLAC (*tracks) Bitrate: Lossless [96kHz/24bit] Time: 0:36:00 Full Size: 748.85 MB As in Oxygene and Equinoxe, Jean Michel Jarre composed, performed and produced Les Chants Magnetiques. In this album, he continued to explore the electronic instrumental sound he loved so much. If the two first albums were dedicated to Nature, Chants Magnetiques was inspired by the actions of men in their environment, in specifically human activities. We hear the sounds of trains, of wheels, metallic, mechanical noises . which do not harm the ethereal, organic sounds, the musical texture which has become Jean Michel Jarre's trademark. At the end of Part 1, we hear the sampling of a sax, such a poignant sound, reminding me of the real sax of Rendez-Vous in 1986. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w434qhNJMdw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JX5oI5YYIZM https://hotlink.cc/folder/1b16559a-26bb-11ec-a971-0cc47ac4f47e
17. Jean Michel Jarre - Equinoxe (1978) [2015] [96kHz/24bit] Country: France Genre: Electronic Quality: FLAC (*tracks) Bitrate: Lossless [96kHz/24bit] Time: 0:39:02 Full Size: 833 MB If Oxygene was a hymn to the air, Equinoxe was an ode to water; music that was fog, mist, almost organic. Jarre created in eighteen months a veritable electronic symphony of intertwining melodic themes. The electronics allowed him to evoke, not imitate the sounds of nature. He recreated them on a synthesiser like Fellini had recreated the sea or the sky at the Cinecitta studio, giving them a personal colour or rhythm. One of the characteristics of Equinoxe is its slow-mo sound effects, seeming to stop time as its sounds melt into the electric heat. Jean Michel Jarre released Equinoxe in 1978. As the follow up album to Oxygene, Equinoxe offers the same mesmerizing affect, with rapid spinning sequencer washes and bubbling synthesizer portions all lilting back and forth to stardust scatterings of electronic pastiches. Using more than 13 different types of synthesizers, Jarre combines whirling soundscapes of multi-textured effects, passages, and sometimes suites to culminate interesting electronic atmospheres. Never repeating the same sounds twice, it is obvious that the science fiction hype of the late 70's played a large part in the making of this album. Computerized rhythms and keyboard-soaked transitions scurry by, replaced by even quicker, more illustrious ones soon after. There is always a pulsating beat or a fluttering tempo happening somewhere in each of the tracks, which are titled as a numbered sequence one to eight. Each track harbors its own energy and electronic fleetness, but none are identical in sound or pace. So much electronic color is added to every track that it is impossible to concentrate on any particular segment, resulting in waves of synth drowning the ears at high tide.
