Descrizione Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront presenta il fronte orientale e la sua "Grande guerra patriottica" combattuta tra l'URSS e la Germania. Questo RTS ti porterà da giugno 1941 fino alla fine della guerra nel maggio 1945. Call to Arms - Gates of Hell: Ostfront offre una scelta di modalità di gioco tra cui giocatore singolo, campagna dinamica, PvE, PvP e cooperativa. Con le sue viste commutabili all'istante, c'è qualcosa per ogni tipo di giocatore. Viste del mitragliere in prima persona per tutti i veicoli, viste in terza persona per veicoli e fanteria, classico controllo diretto dall'alto verso il basso di una singola unità o classico RTS dall'alto verso il basso; sono tutti disponibili e commutabili all'istante. La modalità Conquest (campagna dinamica) offre modalità giocatore singolo e cooperativa per giocare con i tuoi amici. Entrambe le modalità ti consentono di comporre il tuo gruppo di armate, ricercare nuove unità e avanzare strategicamente in diversi percorsi per dominare il campo di battaglia. La campagna dinamica può variare da una durata breve a una durata illimitata. PvP/PvE offre un'ampia varietà di mappe da 1v1 a 4v4 e l'uso di "Dottrine". Queste ti consentono di scegliere le tue unità speciali che si adattano al tuo stile di gioco individuale. È possibile selezionare la fase della guerra (Early/Mid/Late), per sperimentare l'evoluzione di equipaggiamento e veicoli con l'avanzare del conflitto. Giocatore Singolo Sono incluse due campagne per giocatore singolo, ognuna caratterizzata da un nuovo livello di cinematiche, gameplay e dettagli. La campagna del Commonwealth comprende 7 missioni sceneggiate e 3 schermaglie, che raccontano le vicende della Forza di Spedizione Britannica nei primi e disperati giorni dell'Operazione Fall Gelb” a Ovest, seguite dalle operazioni del D-Day con la conquista del ponte Pegasus e l’offensiva nei dintorni di Caen. A tutto questo si aggiungono missioni ricche d’azione dedicate all’Operazione Market Garden e ai lanci paracadutati in Germania -- sarai presente dal primo all’ultimo giorno della guerra sul fronte occidentale! La campagna tedesca comprende 5 missioni sceneggiate e 1 schermaglia. Questa campagna rappresenta quella che in seguito sarebbe stata chiamata “Blitzkrieg”: inizia con i primi giorni caotici ma vittoriosi in Francia, combattendo e accerchiando gli eserciti francese e britannico nei panni della 7ª Divisione Panzer di Rommel (“divisione fantasma”). Le missioni successive si svolgono più tardi nella guerra, con la difesa dell’Atlantikwall e diverse controffensive in Normandia e durante l’Operazione Market Garden. La dura lotta per il controllo dell’estuario della Schelda conclude la guerra nella campagna tedesca. Conquista Per la modalità Conquista sono incluse 25 mappe ambientate sul fronte occidentale. Queste utilizzano un nuovo e unico set di asset, creato per offrire un’accurata rappresentazione dei campi di battaglia nei Paesi Bassi, nelle Fiandre, nella Francia settentrionale e in altre zone. Barrett's catchy, melodic acid pop songs are balanced with longer, more experimental pieces showcasing the group's instrumental freak-outs, often using themes of space travel as metaphors for hallucinogenic experiences -- "Astronomy Domine" is a poppier number in this vein, but tracks like "Interstellar Overdrive" are some of the earliest forays into what has been tagged space rock. But even though Barrett's lyrics and melodies are mostly playful and humorous, the band's music doesn't always bear out those sentiments -- in addition to Rick Wright's eerie organ work, dissonance, chromaticism, weird noises, and vocal sound effects are all employed at various instances, giving the impression of chaos and confusion lurking beneath the bright surface.
