A sorvegliare il lavoro dei macchinari è stata posta una base sul satellite naturale della Terra abitata unicamente da un computer tuttofare dalla voce umana e da un uomo, solo, quasi arrivato al termine dei suoi tre lunghissimi anni di contratto e sempre più vittima degli scherzi che stanchezza e solitudine gli procurano. Sarà un incidente quasi mortale a scardinare il meccanismo di inganni che si cela dietro il suo lavoro mettendolo a contatto inaspettatamente con un altro se stesso. Ma un cristallo utile a questo scopo viene perso e si stacca dalla cometa principale. Il cristallo viene ritrovato da Kakeru Ozora, un giovane astronomo di salute cagionevole, diventato amico della gattina Luna, dopo averle salvato la vita da un incidente d’auto. La vicinanza al cristallo fa precipitare ulteriormente le condizioni del giovane, e Luna decide di aiutarlo con l’aiuto delle Guerriere Sailor che intanto stanno avendo il loro da fare con le terribili Snow Dancers, che hanno il compito di congelare la terra. Tale entità è proprio la cometa osservata da Kakeru, la Princess Snow Kaguya, già respinta una volta al tempo del Silver Millennium dal potere del Cristallo d’Argento. Usagi e gle sue amiche decidono di entrar in questa palestra attirate dalla prova gratuita e per vedere come ha fatto la loro insegnante a perder molto di peso in un giorno solo; Usagi dopo esser fuggita, scoraggiata dalla troppa fatica, tornerò successivamente, pentita, con Luna insieme a Luna e quest'ultima, vedendo la Professoressa Haruna molto debilitata la segue e scopre le capsule. Convinta Usagi a seguirla, e a trasformarsi in Sailor Moon, si confrontano con Jadeite, il quale però stavolta riesce a fuggire dopo aver fatto raccolto una grande quantità d'energia umana, lasciando però Sailor Moon lottare contro gli allenatori della palestra da lui controllati.
