5. Robert Plant & Alison Krauss - Raising Sand (Remastered) (2021) 96-24 Country: UK Genre: Folk,Country Blues Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 57:17 Full Size: 1.2 GB The musical collaboration of the decade, "Raising Sand" is the sound of two iconic figures stepping out of their respective comfort zones and letting their instincts lead them across a brave new sonic landscape. despite hailing from distinctly different backgrounds, Alison Krauss and Robert Plant share a maverick spirit and willingness to extend the boundaries of their respective genres. this spirit, expertly honed by producer T Bone Burnett, has resulted in an album pitched three steps beyond some cosmic collision of early urban blues, spacious west Texas country, and the untapped potential of the folk-rock revolution. supported by the unparalleled musicianship of Marc Ribot, Dennis Crouch, Mike Seeger, Jay Bellerose, Norman Blake, Greg Leisz, Patrick Warren, and Wiley Baugus, Plant and Krauss - as both solo and harmony vocalists - tackle an intriguing selection of songs from such tunesmiths as Tom Waits, Gene Clark, Sam Phillips, Townes van Zandt, the Everly Brothers, and Mel Tillis. "Raising Sand" finds Robert Plant and Alison Krauss exploring popular music's elemental roots while still sounding effortlessly, breath-takingly contemporary. "What seems to be an unlikely pairing of former Led Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant and bluegrass superstar Alison Krauss is actually one of the most effortless-sounding duos in modern popular music. The bridge seems to be producer T-Bone Burnett and the band assembled for this outing: drummer Jay Bellerose (who seems to be the session drummer in demand these days), upright bassist Dennis Crouch, guitarists Marc Ribot and Burnett, with Greg Leisz playing steel here and there, and a number of other guest appearances. Krauss, a monster fiddle player, only does so on two songs here. The proceedings are, predictably, very laid-back. Burnett has only known one speed these last ten years, and so the material chosen by the three is mostly very subdued. This doesn't make it boring, despite Burnett's production, which has become utterly predictable since he started working with Gillian Welch. He has a "sound" in the same way Daniel Lanois does: it's edges are all rounded, everything is very warm, and it all sounds artificially dated. Sam Phillips' "Sister Rosetta Goes Before Us" is a centerpiece on this set. It has her fingerprints all over it. This tune, with its forlorn, percussion-heavy tarantella backdrop, might have come from a Tom Waits record were it not so intricately melodic -- and Krauss' gypsy swing fiddle is a gorgeous touch. There is an emptiness at the heart of longing particularly suited to Krauss' woodsy voice, and Plant's harmony vocal is perfect, understated yet ever-present. It's the most organically atmospheric tune on the set -- not in terms of production, but for lyric and compositional content. Stellar." 6. Kiss - Lick It Up (Remastered) 1983 (2021) 96-24 Country: USA Genre: Hard Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 41:26 Full Size: 980.51 MB Due to the underachievement of their exceptional 1982 comeback album, Creatures of the Night, Kiss knew the time was right to drop the makeup, so in September 1983 the band shocked their fans by unmasking on MTV. Their first non-makeup album, Lick It Up, followed soon after and successfully re-established the band among the heavy metal masses worldwide. Kiss also reconnected with their stateside fans -- Lick It Up was the band's first record to achieve gold status since 1980's Kiss Unmasked. The album's success was spurred by MTV's repeated airing of the imaginative video for the album's strong title track, and songs such as "Exciter," "Not for the Innocent," "A Million to One," and the rap-rocker "All Hell's Breaking Loose" confirmed that the band was back on the right track. Vinnie Vincent again proved to be a worthy replacement to original guitarist Ace Frehley but would unfortunately leave the band after the completion of the Lick It Up worldwide tour (eventually resurfacing with the Vinnie Vincent Invasion in the late '80s). Lick It Up is undoubtedly Kiss' best non-makeup album. © Greg Prato /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gcj34XixuYg&list=OLAK5uy_lvoCntkgRBgcm5FiWiYKfvnCcN7YE2Ug4&index=3 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZ5pxPWvM88&list=OLAK5uy_lvoCntkgRBgcm5FiWiYKfvnCcN7YE2Ug4&index=7 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/66cbcd22-4887-11ec-a971-0cc47ac4f47e

9. Kiss - Killers (Remastered) 1982 (2021) 96-24 Country: USA Genre: Hard Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 56:46 Full Size: 1.3 GB 1981's The Elder was such a bomb worldwide that Kiss' record company outside the U.S., Casablanca/Phonogram, demanded that the band immediately assemble another greatest-hits package to prove to their befuddled fans that they were still a heavy metal group, not experimental prog rockers. Since a greatest-hits set was issued just four years prior in the form of the double LP Double Platinum, the band decided to include four brand-new tracks along with some hits, under the title of Killers (a single album). The new tracks ("I'm a Legend Tonight," "Down on Your Knees," "Nowhere to Run," "Partners in Crime") resembled the Kiss of old more than anything the band had released for a few years by this point (again, guitarist Bob "Alive II" Kulick subs for Ace Frehley). The only hits on Killers that hadn't already appeared on Double Platinum were "I Was Made for Loving You," "Sure Know Something," and "Rock and Roll All Nite (Live)"; the rest were repeats ("Love Gun," "Detroit Rock City," "God of Thunder," "Cold Gin," and "Shout It out Loud"). Killers didn't accomplish what the record company hoped it would -- re-establishing Kiss as chart-toppers -- but it did show their fans outside the U.S. that the band meant business again. Kiss - Dynasty (Remastered) 1979 (2021) 96-24 Country: USA Genre: Hard Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 38:47 Full Size: 909.28 MB https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZhIsAZO5gl0&list=OLAK5uy_ncFcM8wAcCeUwKP1VqooIYZan7yN49mW4&index=1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9SOteJezQI&list=OLAK5uy_ncFcM8wAcCeUwKP1VqooIYZan7yN49mW4&index=2 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/66cbcd22-4887-11ec-a971-0cc47ac4f47e
11. Kiss - Dressed To Kill (Remastered) 1975 (2021) 96-24 Country: USA Genre: Hard Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 30:06 Full Size: 680.08 MB By the release of their third album, 1975's Dressed to Kill, Kiss were fast becoming America's top rock concert attraction, yet their record sales up to this point did not reflect their ticket sales. Casablanca label head Neil Bogart decided to take matters into his own hands, and produced the new record along with the band. The result is more vibrant sounding than its predecessor, 1974's sludgefest Hotter Than Hell, and the songs have more of an obvious pop edge to them. The best-known song on the album by far is the party anthem "Rock and Roll All Nite," but it was the track "C'Mon and Love Me" that became a regional hit in the Detroit area, giving the band their first taste of radio success. Since the band was on the road for a year straight, songs such as "Room Service" and "Ladies in Waiting" dealt with life on the road (i.e., groupies), and a pair of songs were reworked from Kiss' precursor band, Wicked Lester ("Love Her All I Can" and "She"). With Dressed to Kill's Top 40 showing on the Billboard charts, the stage was now set for Kiss' big commercial breakthrough with their next release. © Greg Prato /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwLStZXSHgk&list=OLAK5uy_kR4ZgPGseFkaI1fVKw1oFyAQHkC8xQYb4&index=6 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpdw3NSkaLY&list=OLAK5uy_kR4ZgPGseFkaI1fVKw1oFyAQHkC8xQYb4&index=10 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/66cbcd22-4887-11ec-a971-0cc47ac4f47e
12. Queen - A Night At The Opera (Remastered) (2021) 96-24 Country: UK Genre: Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 43:08 Full Size: 983.31 MB Digitally re-mastered edition of the British Pomp Rock band's 1975 album. A Night at the Opera, named after the Marx Bros film, is widely acclaimed as one of the greatest albums of all time. Exceptional on every level, musically, lyrically and artistically, Queen took the strongest elements of their previous two albums to make the ultimate winning combination. The most expensive album ever recorded at that time, it delivered Rock, Opera, Heavy Metal, Romance, Ballads, Pop, Sci-fi Folk, music hall, Trad Jazz and even the National Anthem. The album contains perhaps the most famous Rock song of all time, 'Bohemian Rhapsody', which went on to spend 14 weeks at #1. Queen also recorded the first official Pop promo for 'Bohemian Rhapsody' as they were on tour and could not appear on Top of the Pops and this video paved the way for MTV and VH1 Download from HotLink https://www.keeplinks.org/p72/63c5881091365
13. Kiss - Greatest Kiss (Remastered) 1996 (2021) 96-24 Country: USA Genre: Hard Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:31:59 Full Size: 2.11 GB Greatest Kiss is a compilation album of greatest hits by the American hard rock band Kiss. "Kiss has been the subject of numerous best-of compilations over the years, some released stateside (1978's Double Platinum, 1988's Smashes, Thrashes & Hits), while others only in specified regions (1982's Killers in Europe, 1988's Chikara in Japan, etc.). The 1996 collection Greatest Kiss was originally intended to only be issued outside the U.S., but since it was selling well as an import stateside, it was eventually issued domestically one year later. 15. R.E.M. - New Adventures In Hi-Fi (Remastered) (2021) 192-24 Country: USA Genre: Alternative rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [192 kHz/24 bit] Time: 01:05:21 Full Size: 2.52 GB 25th-anniversary edition of R. E. M.'s tenth studio album, New Adventures in Hi-Fi. First released in 1996, the album was R. E. M.'s last studio recording with founding member Bill Berry who left amicably the following year. As the band's fifth collaboration with long-time producer Scott Litt (Green, Out of Time, Automatic for the People and Monster), the album experiments with new sonic textures, filled with cinematic imagery, dissonant notes and haunting effects. The platinum-selling title includes the singles "Electrolite," "E-Bow the Letter" (featuring Patti Smith) and "Bittersweet Me," and represents R. E. M.'s longest studio release with a total run time of 65 minutes. New Adventures in Hi-Fi grew to cult status years after its release, with several press retrospectives--and band members themselves--ranking it among the top albums in R. E. M.'s recorded catalogue. "Recorded during and immediately following R.E.M.'s disaster-prone Monster tour, New Adventures in Hi-Fi feels like it was recorded on the road. Not only are all of Michael Stipe's lyrics on the album about moving or travel, the sound is ragged and varied, pieced together from tapes recorded at shows, soundtracks, and studios, giving it a loose, careening charm. New Adventures has the same spirit of much of R.E.M.'s IRS records, but don't take the title of New Adventures in Hi-Fi lightly -- R.E.M. tries different textures and new studio tricks. "How the West Was Won and Where It Got Us" opens the album with a rolling, vaguely hip-hop drum beat and slowly adds on jazzily dissonant piano. "E-Bow the Letter" starts out as an updated version of "Country Feedback," then it turns in on itself with layers of moaning guitar effects and Patti Smith's haunting backing vocals. Clocking in at seven minutes, "Leave" is the longest track R.E.M. has yet recorded and it's one of their strangest and best -- an affecting minor-key dirge with a howling, siren-like feedback loop that runs throughout the entire song. Elsewhere, R.E.M. tread standard territory: "Electrolite" is a lovely piano-based ballad, "Departure" rocks like a Document outtake, the chiming opening riff of "Bittersweet Me" sounds like it was written in 1985, "New Test Leper" is gently winding folk-rock, and "The Wake-Up Bomb" and "Undertow" rock like the Monster outtakes they are. New Adventures in Hi-Fi may run a little too long -- it clocks in at 62 minutes, by far the longest album R.E.M. has ever released -- yet in its multifaceted sprawl, they wound up with one of their best records of the '90s." 16. Neil Young - Old Ways (Remastered) 1985 (2021) 44.1-24 Country: Canada Genre: Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [44,1kHz/24 bit] Time: 36:40 Full Size: 398.99 MB Old Ways was recorded in Tennessee and Texas in 1985. For years, Neil Young dabbled with various aspects of country-styled music; but, on Old Ways he really turns it up and turns country into PURE Neil Young. He rounded up some hot country music talent for this recording. Country outlaws Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings play a role on all but three of the tracks, either in duets with Neil or on electric and acoustic guitars. Janis Oliver-Gill and Kristine Oliver-Arnold (the Sweethearts of the Rodeo) and Marty Stuart provide featured back-up. Old Ways was produced by Neil Young, Ben Keith, David Briggs and Elliot Mazer. All the songs were written by Neil Young. "In 1984, Geffen Records sued Neil Young on the grounds that he had submitted uncharacteristic, uncommercial records to the label. By the time a settlement had been reached, Young had been on the road with a country band called the International Harvesters for over a year and recorded a revamped version of Old Ways, a 1982 recording originally rejected by Geffen that was cut in the style of Harvest and Comes a Time, but with a stronger country leaning. Young depends heavily on friends, especially for vocals -- Waylon Jennings sings harmony on six out of the ten tracks, and one of the others is a duet with Willie Nelson. Though populated by cowboys and country references, Young's take on the genre is typically idiosyncratic, including a reworked version of his autobiography in "Get Back to the Country," a cover of the 1956 Gogi Grant hit "The Wayward Wind," and the uncategorizable "Misfits," which portrays astronauts watching Muhammad Ali fights on television in space. Old Ways is not a great Neil Young album and at the time of its release served to alienate him even further from his audience, but it has its moments." 19. Saga - Full Circle (Remastered) 1999 (2021) 48-24 Country: Canada Genre: Progressive rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [48 kHz/24 bit] Time: 49:38 Full Size: 628.61 MB Full Circle marks another great album especially for those who love classic SAGA as it features plenty of creative songs, a powerful delivery and that special unique characteristic of SAGA. "If nothing else Saga deserve kudos for sticking to their guns. Neither punk nor new wave nor grunge nor any of the other subgenres that have influenced popular music since Saga's inception (1977) have infiltrated this band's formula. Their brand of keyboard and guitar-heavy album and arena rock has experienced a dwindling audience in North America, but Saga still thrived in Europe, specifically Germany. For longtime fans of Saga Full Circle is likely a welcome addition to their discography, but to those who expect prog rock to progress, the album offers little of redeeming value." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lX6OaqDq4Cg&list=OLAK5uy_lOTG1Di1uXwccTuYgoHcPJED6g8ilZrTE&index=8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAV2wgf7gYg&list=OLAK5uy_lOTG1Di1uXwccTuYgoHcPJED6g8ilZrTE&index=3 Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/d73f8761-f6d6-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e

23. Udo Lindenberg - Daumen im Wind (Remastered) 1972 (2013) 96-24 Country: Germany Genre: Rock Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 38:07 Full Size: 803.26 MB Udo Lindenberg's second release, Daumen im Wind, was a risky venture: when it was released in 1972, mainstream opinion had it that rock music with German lyrics was impossible. On Daumen im Wind, Lindenberg proved otherwise. Although he hadn't found his unique style yet, some tracks on this album, most notably "Hoch im Norden," "Alkoholmädchen," and the title track, gave a glimpse of what was to come starting with his next release. In terms of style, Lindenberg ventured into many waters apart from rock: jazzy sounds are to be found on "Meer der Träume," "Biochemon" is very experimental with Orwellian lyrics, and there is even a spiritual dimension with the song "In den Tiefen Gängen der Vergangenheit," which deals with reincarnation -- and all in all, the album sounds more thrown together than presenting a unified approach. With Daumen im Wind, Udo Lindenberg started to redefine his role as a rock musician, so it has to be regarded as a transitional album on the way to his later groundbreaking work. It is not a masterpiece, but still an important step in the history of German rock because it has to be regarded as the first rock album making use of German lyrics. © Frank Eisenhuth /TiVo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63Ji5EPKd3A Download from HotLink https://hotlink.cc/folder/1e07063e-aa81-11eb-a971-0cc47ac4f47e
24. Them feat. Van Morrison - Them Again (Remastered) (2020) 96-24 Country: UK Genre: Blues Rock,Garage Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 44:54 Full Size: 813.43 MB Them Again is the second album by the Northern Irish band, Them, whose lead singer and songwriter was Van Morrison. The album was released by Decca Records in the UK on 21 January 1966 but it failed to chart. In the U.S. it was released in April 1966 where it peaked at #138 on the Billboard charts. "The group's second and, for all intents and purposes, last full album was recorded while Them was in a state of imminent collapse. To this day, nobody knows who played on the album, other than Van Morrison and bassist Alan Henderson, though it is probable that Jimmy Page was seldom very far away when Them was recording. The 16 songs here are a little less focused than the first LP. The material was cut under siege conditions, with a constantly shifting lineup and a grueling tour schedule; essentially, there was no "group" to provide focus to the sound, only Morrison's voice, so the material bounces from a surprisingly restrained "I Put a Spell on You" to the garage-punkoid "I Can Only Give You Everything." Folk-rock rears its head not only on the moody cover of Dylan's "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue" but also the Morrison-authored "My Lonely Sad Eyes," but the main thrust is soul, which Morrison oozes everywhere -- while there's some filler, his is a voice that could easily have knocked Mick Jagger or Eric Burdon off their respective perches." 25. Them feat. Van Morrison - The "Angry" Young Them! (Remastered) (2020) 96-24 Country: UK Genre: Blues Rock,Garage Format: FLAC (*tracks) Quality: Lossless [96 kHz/24 bit] Time: 38:56 Full Size: 727.42 MB The debut album by the group, also known as The Angry Young Them, and half its tracks make it a dead-on rival to the Stones' debut album, writes Bruce Eder for AllMusic. This reissue features the album's original British configuration ("Just a Little Bit," "I Gave My Love a Diamond," "Bright Lights, Big City," and "My Little Baby" are here; "One Two Brown Eyes" and "Here Comes the Night" are absent). Them were a Northern Irish band formed in Belfast in April 1964, known for the garage rock standard "Gloria" and launching singer Van Morrison's musical career. The original five member band consisted of Morrison, Alan Henderson, Ronnie Millings, Billy Harrison and Eric Wrixon. The group was marketed in the United States as part of the British Invasion. "Decca's willingness to release a full-length Them album was conditioned upon the breakthrough success of the band's third single, "Here Comes the Night." It was not, however, the practice in Britain at the time to put hit singles on albums, so this 14-track LP does not include that song. It does, however, contain six songs written by lead vocalist Van Morrison, including the immortal "Gloria" and "Mystic Eyes," which became a chart single in the U.S., plus some well-played R&B covers. Because of an annotation on the back of the LP, this album is sometimes referred to as The Angry Young Them, although its official title is Them."
