Costoso, buon remake di uno splendido film scritto e diretto da Clouzot nel 1952. La tensione è costante e la fotografia fa della giungla un inquietante personaggio a sé. Bella colonna sonora con musiche di Charlie Parker, Keith Jarrett, Tangerine Dream.
