Al proprio turno si potranno ponderare con tutta calma le proprie scelte, impegnandosi nella ricerca o nella produzione di risorse estratte dai pianeti conquistati, tentare la diplomazia trattando con razze aliene piuttosto che dichiarare guerra. La struttura è quindi piuttosto classica, eppure Amplitude è riuscita nel non facile compito di rinfrescare la formula, espandendo idee già proposte da altri prodotti precedenti, a cominciare dalla riuscitissima interfaccia grafica.
