Trama:

Bridget Jones, single londinese sulla trentina, insicura, introspettiva, carrierista, fissata con le calorie, ha finalmente trovato l'anima gemella. Da sei gloriose settimane è fidanzata con l'adorabile avvocato Mark Darcy e le cose non potrebbero andare meglio. Ora che ha finalmente trovato l'uomo giusto, deve riuscire a non farselo scappare, e proprio mentre sta cercando di capire se sia realmente possibile vivere "per sempre felici e contenti" entra in scena la nuova collega di Darcy, una bellezza dalle gambe lunghe due metri che dice sempre la cosa giusta al momento giusto. Tutto ad un tratto la gelosia, l'insicurezza e la tentazione rischiano di far naufragare il sogno della giovane, confusa in un comico intrico di cattivi consigli, pasticci e situazioni assurde di cui solo lei potrebbe essere protagonista...
