Il lavoro gli dà meno felicità visto che è stato costretto a uccidere un uomo per legittima difesa. Di suo fratello Frank non si hanno notizie da quando è andato in Vietnam. Poi Frank torna e non sembra troppo felice neanche lui. Quando Frank uccide un barista, sarà Joe a doverlo arrestare. Fortunatamente il film è doppiato e quindi non dovrete ascoltare la Golino bistrattare la lingua inglese. Ma questo è anche l'unico difetto di quest'opera prima di Sean Penn. Hopper è il saggio barista. E il duetto Bronson/Dennis è quasi da lacrime. -
