We watch Morton Harket, Magne Furuholmen and Paul Waaktaar very closely with our camera. Our mission is to find out why these three, friends since childhood, have become so cold with each other. Something is totally rotten between them, but what? The two blondes in the band - Magne and Paul - formed their first band together at the age of 10. And like many teens they dreamed of becoming world-famous rock musicians. In Norway in the 70s that was an impossible and childish dream. The country was primarily known for "Zero Points" in the Eurovision Song Contest and had never produced a band that was famous beyond its borders. But of all people these guys succeeded. Their dream came true. But was it really? All three answer this question with a slight doubt. They actually dreamed of becoming serious rock stars, not teenage idols who were pictured in glossy magazines. It follows the band on tour, telling the full story of how three young men followed their impossible dream of becoming Norwegian pop stars. When Take On Me reached number 1 on Billboard in the US in 1985 the dream came true. Staged by long-term PSB designer Es Devlin and choreographer/director Lynne Page, the show was filmed by director David Barnard. Filmed on 27 and 28 July 2018, the full-length film on DVD and Blu-ray is accompanied by two CDs of the complete audio of the live show plus a bonus feature of PSB live at Rock in Rio, which was recorded on 17 September 2017 at the Brazilian festival. The 'Inner Sanctum' production won rave reviews for a musical and visual extravaganza which brought lasers, dazzling choreography and immersive visuals and stage design to the ornate surroundings of the Royal Opera House for an electrifying show. The set-list featured contemporary PSB material from their last two albums 'Super' and 'Electric' mixed with many PSB's classic hits from their peerless back catalogue including 'Love comes quickly', 'West End Girls', 'It's A Sin', 'Go West' and 'Always On My Mind'.
