È là che troverai la soluzione per curare il mondo e trasformare l’arido e desolato territorio in un ambiente verdeggiante e rigoglioso. Tuttavia, la salvezza dell’umanità ti costerà molto: inoltrandoti in queste terre sconosciute, ti esporrai a delle tossine che devasteranno la tua fragile forma umana. Il destino del mondo dipende da te, dalla tua fidata mazza e dalle strane abilità che otterrai man mano che il mondo attorno a te devasterà il tuo corpo, mutandoti in un essere che non ha nulla di umano, ma è molto più potente. Nevertheless, the records rounded up here -- which include the eight albums Lowell George recorded with the band (the seminal 1978 live album Waiting for Columbus is present in its 2002 expansion), plus the 1981 compilation Hoy Hoy! and the two comeback albums, 1988's Let It Roll and Representing the Mambo; an edited version of the rarities disc from 2000's Hotcakes & Outtakes box is nicely included (the earliest songs have been excised) -- represent the group's core catalog. They'd continue to record into the new millennium -- 2012's Rooster Rag is quite good -- but these albums have the songs and sensibility that built their legacy, which does include their remarkably successful return in 1988. Not only did they trade their souls for over thirty years of globetrotting and metal extravagance. They also haggled to keep their playing abilities, they bartered to keep their looks - we get older, gain weight and lose hair, yet they look like they've just walked off "that" song's beach video set from 1992! Recently confirmed for Bloodstock next year, the Derbyshire festival described them as SoCal-Alt rockers. Well it doesn't matter where they come from, all the Alt has gone, this album is all about the rock. Straight up rock! Just play opener'That Ain't Livin' or 'Failure' that are straight out of the Bon Scott, AC/DC play book. They explore their inner Woodstock with 'Not Like Any Other'. We also get some ballads. They are a rock band and they are very good at it. 'Kill the Pain' is a builder, that crescendos into a massive wall of emotional noise, 'Long Road' by contrast, is a chirpy, happy, up tempo ballad and 'Everything Changes' is an introspective, piece of rock pop that Blind Melon used to craft. Ugly Kid Joe can be the butt of a few jokes and it's easy to see why. One hit wonders, quirky songs, cover versions and not taking themselves too seriously. On this album we get quirky with 'Drinkin and Drivin', a play on country and western and 'Up to the City', which is a slow quirky tune. Their cover version effort is a rocked up slant on the Kinks classic 'Lola'. And there's a nice touch with a tribute to all the rock legends played and sung with their tongue firmly in their cheeks with a mid-album highlight, 'Dead Friends Play'. Descrizione La storia Rad è un ragazzo vivace ma turbolento, che forse usa un po' troppo i videogiochi. Dopo essersi appisolato alla fine di una lunga nottata di gioco, si sveglia per scoprire che la sua vecchia e polverosa console si è accesa da sola. All'improvviso un vortice lo risucchia nella TV, dove si ritrova protagonista di un videogioco tutto suo. Dusty è la console di Rad che ha preso vita, tanto generosa quanto sboccata. La sua velocità di clock non è più quella di un tempo, ma compensa la carenza di MHz con l'esperienza e il carattere! Rad e Dusty vivranno una fantastica avventura attraverso una serie di pericolosi livelli ricchi di azione, humour e puro divertimento platform. Questa decadente foresta è stata stregata da una forza malvagia e sarà compito dell'improbabile duo, Rad e Dusty, salvare i suoi abitanti e riportare la Vecchia Alberona al comando del suo mondo. CARATTERISTICHE PRINCIPALI: Armi: Dusty darà a Rad un arsenale di tutto rispetto. La Bolt Blaster ha munizioni infinite, è facile da usare e ha abbastanza potenza di fuoco per fare il proprio lavoro, mentre il cannone Phoenix spara un uccello infuocato che sfrecciando con le sue ali accende letteralmente i nemici. Audio e musica: il compositore Andrew Hulshult ha combinato la sua pluriennale esperienza musicale (sia nell’esecuzione che nella composizione) con la sua passione per i giochi in stile retrogaming, dando vita a una colonna sonora straordinaria e originale, con tanto di musica in stile MIDI... e sintonizzatori! Il Pixelverse: anche se Rad e Dusty formano un’ottima squadra, solo Dusty può entrare nel Pixelverse elettrificato, una sorta di pericolosa frattura nello spaziotempo che esiste oltre al mondo del gioco. Dusty entra nel Pixelverse quando è necessario riparare i glitch nel mondo del gioco, consentendo così sia a Rad che Dusty di continuare la propria avventura. Easter Egg: ovviamente non mancheranno le classiche stanze segrete e alcuni collezionabili piuttosto difficili da trovare. Dovrai usare tutta la tua abilità e precisione con i platform per ottenerli tutti.
