RPWL started out as a Pink Floyd cover band, and while they have developed quite a bit over the years remnants of that sound are still a part of the music they create today. There are numerous key differences though, and for starters RPWL as of 2019 isn't as dark as far in terms of mood and atmosphere. Descrizione Le vicende raccontate sono abbastanza comprensibili in maniera autonoma, ma fanno comunque da seguito diretto al primo episodio, da cui recuperano personaggi, ambientazioni e svariati spunti narrativi. Insomma, è possibile iniziare da qui, ma certo si godrà di più l'avventura chi ha accompagnato il pirata Nathaniel, la principessa elfa Ivo, lo gnomo Wilbur e quella bizzarra creatura di Critter (protagonista del prequel citato prima e che, va detto, in una visione d'insieme risulta sicuramente più accessorio). È comunque trascorso un po' di tempo e i protagonisti si trovano lontani l'uno dall'altro, alle prese con quello che potrebbe essere un nuovo inizio per tutti loro: Ivo è prossima al matrimonio, Wilbur ha una carriera avviata da insegnante di magia e Nathaniel, ovviamente, si è infilato nei guai. Inutile dire che le vicende non ci metteranno molto a complicarsi parecchio, recuperando personaggi conosciuti nel primo gioco, introducendone di nuovi, portando i vari eroi per caso a unirsi un'altra volta e ponendo di fronte al giocatore una minaccia terribile da sventare. Come da tradizione della serie, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 racconta una storia più complessa di quanto ci si possa aspettare inizialmente e, soprattutto, è scritto davvero bene, all'insegna di un umorismo simpatico, sopra le righe, fortemente consapevole.
