Ma proprio per questa sua vasta conoscenza, il governo giapponese affida a Shinichi il ruolo di "missionario" nel Sacro Impero di Eldant, un mondo parallelo fantastico da cui si accede attraverso un'entrata nascosta in una foresta alle pendici del Monte Fuji. Qui Shinichi stringe amicizia con una maid mezza-elfa di nome Myuseru e con la bella imperatrice Petoaru ma, pur venendo coinvolto in varie faccende di quel mondo, rimane sempre preoccupato dal suo ruolo di "invasore" (shinryakusha). -

Non è tra i migliori lungometraggi della premiata ditta, ma rimane un film gradevole, ben congegnato nella netta prevalenza di animali antropomorfi su personaggi umani, che tiene d'occhio i musical e i film d'azione degli anni '80.
