A prova di errore Fail Safe USA, 2000 Genere: Thriller durata 85'film per la tvplay Regia di Stephen Frears Con Richard Dreyfuss, Noah Wyle, Brian Dennehy, Sam Elliott Un bombardiere armato a testate nucleari sta per attaccare Mosca: colpa di un errore del mega computer del Ministero della Difesa statunitense. Remake di _Fail Safe_ di Lumet (1964), girato in bianco e nero. Difficile credere che stiamo parlando di un tv movie. La trama riprende e attualizza lo script originale, in cui in piena Guerra Fredda, alcuni aerei americana rischiano di bombardare Mosca per errore. Il resto del cast è superbo, a parte Dreyfuss, assolutamente inadatto nel ruolo del Presidente che fu di Henry Fonda. E con una sorpresa per quanto riguarda Noah Wyle, impressionantemente bravo nella parte del giovane interprete che fu di Larry Hagman. -
