Dopo la morte, all'uomo è riservato un duplice destino: se è stato onesto in vita, andrà in paradiso; altrimenti ad aspettarlo ci sarà l'inferno. Tuttavia, alcune persone rappresentano l'eccezione: quando due individui muoiono contemporaneamente, la legge vuole che, prima del trapasso, vengano convocati in un posto fra i due mondi dell'oltretomba, per essere giudicati. Arrivano così al Quindecim, un bar gestito da un inespressivo cameriere e una ragazza dai lunghi capelli corvini. Invitati a prendere parte ad un gioco, che può andare dal biliardo al bowling, dalle carte alle freccette, i malcapitati sono costretti a mettere in palio la propria vita, di cui non hanno la consapevolezza di aver già persa. Durante il gioco, l'inespressivo barman, nei panni di giudice, emana il verdetto sulla condotta tenuta e decide se far reincarnare l'anima del defunto o spedirla nell'oblio.

Izumi Shinichi conduce una vita tranquilla a Tokyo, fino a quando una razza aliena non decide di invadere il suolo terrestre. Tiger Mask W (L'Uomo Tigre W) è ambientato alla fine del 2016, quarantacinque anni dopo la conclusione di L'Uomo Tigre racconta le vicissitudini di Naoto Azuma e Takuma Fujii, due ventunenni amici pro-wrestler della Japan Pro Wrestling, una sigla indipendente. Un giorno però la compagnia viene assorbita dalla GWM, una grande federazione, e da quel momento in poi le loro vite prendono strade diverse. Azuma viene trasformato nel nuovo Tiger Mask, mentre Takuma, dopo aver subito un infortunio, cerca vendetta nei confronti della GWM, entrando nella nuova Tana delle Tigri, che ha ora sede negli Stati Uniti, e diventando l'oscuro Tiger the Dark.

Earl J. Hickey è un trentenne fannullone che conduce una vita disordinata e sregolata, dedito a piccoli furti e crimini, assieme alla moglie Joy, ai suoi due figli legittimi ma non naturali, Earl Jr. e Dodge, e all'inseparabile fratello Randy. La sua vita cambia radicalmente quando una mattina vince 100 000 dollari grazie a un biglietto del gratta e vinci. Mentre gioisce per la vincita viene investito da un'automobile, perdendo così il tagliando vincente e finendo all'ospedale. Dopo l'incidente, Earl perde anche la moglie, che con l'inganno gli fa firmare il foglio del divorzio, e la casa, occupata ora da Darnell detto "Gamberone", amante, padre del secondo figlio di Joy e poi anche marito di lei. Durante la degenza Earl viene a conoscenza del Karma, il principio secondo cui per ogni azione che si compie ne ritornerebbe indietro un'altra dello stesso tipo. L'uomo comincia a riflettere sulla vita e sulla sua condotta, arrivando a concludere che le numerose cattive azioni sono la causa del suo malessere, decidendo perciò di rimediare: stila una lista di tutte le cattiverie commesse fin lì, cercando di rimediare una a una a tutte le sue colpe per poter così vivere finalmente una vita tranquilla e pulita. Nel motel dove si trasferisce a vivere insieme a suo fratello Randy, Earl incontra Catalina, una giovane immigrata clandestina messicana addetta alle pulizie, che stringe subito una forte amicizia con i due fratelli promettendo di aiutarli nel loro compito. Dopo aver eliminato il suo primo punto dall'elenco, Earl ritrova sotto la sua scarpa destra il gratta e vinci smarrito dopo essere stato investito; grazie alla vincita Earl può quindi dedicarsi a tempo pieno alla cancellazione dei numerosi punti contenuti nella sua lista.

Earl J. Hickey è un trentenne fannullone che conduce una vita disordinata e sregolata, dedito a piccoli furti e crimini, assieme alla moglie Joy, ai suoi due figli legittimi ma non naturali, Earl Jr. e Dodge, e all'inseparabile fratello Randy. La sua vita cambia radicalmente quando una mattina vince 100 000 dollari grazie a un biglietto del gratta e vinci. Mentre gioisce per la vincita viene investito da un'automobile, perdendo così il tagliando vincente e finendo all'ospedale. Dopo l'incidente, Earl perde anche la moglie, che con l'inganno gli fa firmare il foglio del divorzio, e la casa, occupata ora da Darnell detto "Gamberone", amante, padre del secondo figlio di Joy e poi anche marito di lei. Durante la degenza Earl viene a conoscenza del Karma, il principio secondo cui per ogni azione che si compie ne ritornerebbe indietro un'altra dello stesso tipo. L'uomo comincia a riflettere sulla vita e sulla sua condotta, arrivando a concludere che le numerose cattive azioni sono la causa del suo malessere, decidendo perciò di rimediare: stila una lista di tutte le cattiverie commesse fin lì, cercando di rimediare una a una a tutte le sue colpe per poter così vivere finalmente una vita tranquilla e pulita. Nel motel dove si trasferisce a vivere insieme a suo fratello Randy, Earl incontra Catalina, una giovane immigrata clandestina messicana addetta alle pulizie, che stringe subito una forte amicizia con i due fratelli promettendo di aiutarli nel loro compito. Dopo aver eliminato il suo primo punto dall'elenco, Earl ritrova sotto la sua scarpa destra il gratta e vinci smarrito dopo essere stato investito; grazie alla vincita Earl può quindi dedicarsi a tempo pieno alla cancellazione dei numerosi punti contenuti nella sua lista.

Durante la degenza Earl viene a conoscenza del Karma, il principio secondo cui per ogni azione che si compie ne ritornerebbe indietro un'altra dello stesso tipo. L'uomo comincia a riflettere sulla vita e sulla sua condotta, arrivando a concludere che le numerose cattive azioni sono la causa del suo malessere, decidendo perciò di rimediare: stila una lista di tutte le cattiverie commesse fin lì, cercando di rimediare una a una a tutte le sue colpe per poter così vivere finalmente una vita tranquilla e pulita. Nel motel dove si trasferisce a vivere insieme a suo fratello Randy, Earl incontra Catalina, una giovane immigrata clandestina messicana addetta alle pulizie, che stringe subito una forte amicizia con i due fratelli promettendo di aiutarli nel loro compito. Dopo aver eliminato il suo primo punto dall'elenco, Earl ritrova sotto la sua scarpa destra il gratta e vinci smarrito dopo essere stato investito; grazie alla vincita Earl può quindi dedicarsi a tempo pieno alla cancellazione dei numerosi punti contenuti nella sua lista.

La Terra risulta devastata da una catastrofe, denominata la "Grande Catastrofe", avvenuta undici anni prima, che distrusse una parte significativa del mondo ed uccise numerosi abitanti. La catastrofe fu accompagnata dallo scioglimento dei ghiacciai che ha riportato alla superficie Atlandia e con essa i suoi abitanti, gli Angeli delle Tenebre, una specie alata che era rimasta latente per 12.000 anni. Lo scopo di queste creature è quello di rapire gli esseri umani, chiamati con disprezzo Esseri senza ali, al fine di estrarne il prana, la loro bioenergia, indispensabile per la sopravvivenza ed il sostentamento degli Angeli delle Tenebre. La popolazione mondiale si trova così a dover subire continui attacchi da parte delle Bestie mietitrici, ovvero enormi esseri capaci di catturare con estrema facilità gli esseri umani. Queste particolari macchine sono spesso accompagnate da giganteschi robot, chiamati Soldati Cherubim. Contro questo potente nemico le armi convenzionali sono del tutto inefficaci, spetta quindi alla DEAVA, sotto il comando di Gen Fudo, proteggere l'umanità intera. La DEAVA grazie all'utilizzo degli ultimi ritrovati tecnologici e, soprattutto, alle Vector Machine ritrovate sul fondo dell'oceano, funge così da ultimo baluardo degli uomini. I tre Vector, chiamati Vector Luna, Vector Mars e Vector Sol, sono in grado di unirsi dando origine all'Angelo Meccanico Aquarion, un gigantesco robot. I Vector possono essere pilotati solo da esseri umani speciali detti Element, dotati di poteri paranormali e con l'innata capacità di resistere ai poteri ipnotici che gli Angeli delle Tenebre esercitano sulle vittime al fine di catturarle facilmente.
