Purtroppo anche lui viene arrestato con l'accusa di alto tradimento contro il governo terrestre in quanto salito a bordo dell'Arcadia; nessuno dei suoi avvertimenti viene minimamente preso in considerazione. In onda il: 1978-04-18 5: Ai confini delle stelle L'Arcadia viene intercetta da un'astronave mazoniana che l'aggredisce; Harlock e l'equipaggio tutto però si difendono bene e riescono a distruggere il nemico, arrivando inoltre anche a far prigioniera la sua comandante: per non farsi interrogare la mazoniana si fa esplodere. All'interno dell'antichissima struttura Harlock recupera il corpo d'una mazoniana dalle fattezze meravigliose, l'aliena è di una bellezza indicibile; intanto Tadashi spinto dall'odio prova a sparare alla nemica ma viene fermato da un gruppo di alghe dalle forme umane e dovrà essere portato in salvo da Yattaran. Harlock nuovamente cerca di mettere in allerta i capi terrestri, ma inutilmente: Kirita è sempre più impegnato nel tentativo di ucciderlo, usando Mayu come esca. 7: La piramide in fondo al mare In onda il: 1978-05-02 Captati misteriosi segnali provenienti dal Triangolo delle Bermuda Harlock si convince che è bene andare ad indagare nelle vicinanze per scoprire di cosa si tratta; dopo che Yattaran ha sganciato una bomba sui fondali marini appare una gigantesca Piramide sulle cui pareti di pietra sono incise delle scritte somiglianti in tutto e per tutto a quelle che si trovano sul pennant caduto sulla Terra.
