Edda è una giovane topolina figlia del gestore di un luna park in crisi. Il suo sogno è diventare una pilota di auto da corsa. Dopo un incontro sfortunato con il suo idolo, il leggendario pilota Ed, la giovane Edda si ritrova a doverlo sostituire in incognito per salvargli la carriera. Travestita da Ed, per Edda ha così inizio un’avventura fatta di travestimenti e corse mozzafiato, mentre i due cercano di collaborare e lei si cala nel ruolo di Ed per gareggiare nella competizione. Ma qualcosa di strano accade in pista: un sabotatore misterioso sta cercando di rovinare tutto per vincere la gara. Edda dovrà usare tutta la sua astuzia e il suo coraggio per scoprire l’identità del sabotatore, tagliare il traguardo e proteggere il parco divertimenti della sua famiglia, che rischia di chiudere per sempre.

Rudo vive nei bassifondi di una città fluttuante, in cui i poveri mendicano all'ombra dei ricchi che al contrario vivono un vita sontuosa, semplicemente gettando i rifiuti nell'abisso. Ma un giorno, viene falsamente accusato di omicidio e l'ingiusta condanna lo porta a una punizione inimmaginabile, l'esilio fuori dai confini, insieme al resto della spazzatura. Giù in superficie, i rifiuti dell'umanità hanno nutrito schiere di mostri feroci e se Rudo vuole avere qualche possibilità di scoprire la verità e avere la sua vendetta, su coloro che lo hanno scaraventato all'inferno, dovrà padroneggiare il suo nuovo potere e affrontare torreggianti mostri di spazzatura nel Pozzo.

Le linee di sangue di "Oni" e "Momotaro" sono state tramandate tra alcuni umani per generazioni. Molto tempo fa, gli Oni, consapevoli della loro ferocia, vivevano in isolamento. Tuttavia, la loro pace fu infranta da un'invasione guidata da Momotaro. Nel corso di migliaia di anni, queste due fazioni formarono rispettivamente la "Momotaro Agency" e la "Oni Agency", e da allora sono rimaste bloccate in conflitto.
