Akihabara è il centro dell'universo per gli hobby più cool e i divertimenti più stravaganti. Nella primavera del 1999, Nagomi Wahira, con gli occhi lucidi, si trasferisce lì con il sogno di entrare in un maid café. In breve tempo indossa il grembiule del caffè Ton Tokoton, noto come il Rifugio del Maiale. Ma adattarsi alla vita nella vivace Akihabara non è così facile come servire il tè e deliziare i clienti. In coppia con la cupa Ranko, che sembra non sorridere mai, Nagomi deve fare del suo meglio per elevare il Pig Hut rispetto a tutti gli altri maid café in lizza per il primo posto. Lungo il percorso, dovrà ritagliarsi un posto per sé tra i fronzoli e le emozioni della vita al Pig Hut. Proprio quando i sogni di Nagomi sono a portata di mano, scopre che non tutto è come sembra tra i maid café di Akihabara.
