Mito, orfana, vive per la strada da quando ha terminato la scuola media, travestendosi da maschio per sopravvivere. Quando perde il lavoro il mondo sembra crollarle addosso, ma proprio in quel momento l'incontro col vampiro Luka appare provvidenziale: il giovane, credendo che lei sia un ragazzo, le offre ospitalità nel dormitorio maschile, in cambio del suo sangue. Dato che Mito non ha mai conosciuto l'amore, il suo sangue ha un sapore sgradevole, ma questo non basta a fermare Luka, convinto di riuscire a risolvere il problema riempiendola di affetto. Per non rischiare di perdere tutto, Mito dovrà proteggere ad ogni costo il suo segreto!
