Il protagonista, Kid Muscle (Mantaro Kinniku nella versione giapponese), un improbabile lottatore di wrestling, assieme a suoi compagni, affronta assurdi nemici alieni sul ring, che vogliono conquistare la Terra. Il padre di Kid era il famoso wrestler King Muscle, conosciuto come Kinnikuman (Suguru Kinniku), proveniente dal pianeta Muscolo (Pianeta Kinniku nella versione giapponese), che anni fa aveva difeso la Terra dai lottatori Chojin malvagi ed ora passa al figlio Kid il compito di difendere la Terra dai perfidi alieni della DMP. Kid è giovane e inesperto, ma grazie all'aiuto di Meat, l'allenatore di suo padre, e di altri supereroi buoni riuscirà a contrastare la minaccia dei cattivi della DMP.

Max Man agrees to a one hour rest for Mantaro. In the mean time Mantaro is laid out on 3 front row seats resting under a blanket, next to the beef guidon. Throughout the episode, Mantaro is seen sneaking the bowls to eat. Max Man, in his impatience decides to make short work of a Hercules Factory graduate while he waits for Mantaro to rest. He will fight number one, which is Gazelleman, but since the DMP already beat the hell out of him, he will take number two.
