Mark Hogancamp mette in scena nel proprio prato le gesta di un suo alter ego di nome Hogie in un fittizio villaggio belga, durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Hogie è un pilota americano in lotta contro i nazisti e protetto dalle donne di Marwen, che sono poi la trasfigurazione delle donne che hanno aiutato Mark durante la sua terapia. Egli è infatti reduce da un pestaggio di natura omofoba e da una lunga ma insufficiente riabilitazione, tanto da aver perso sia la memoria sia la capacità di disegnare. Elabora la tragedia fotografando le scene che crea nel giardino, con bambole di donne eleganti e action figure di soldati. Quando arriva una nuova vicina, Nicol, Mark cerca di raddrizzare la propria vita e di liberarsi dalla dipendenza dagli antidolorifici.

Trama
La storia narra degli eventi attorno Tokyo-Hakone Round-Trip College Ekiden Rake o semplicemente "l'Hakone Ekiden”, una delle più importanti maratone a staffetta universitarie del Giappone. La gara si tiene ogni anno il 2-3 gennaio, i partecipanti devono percorrere Tokyo-Hakone andata e ritorno per un totale di 271.9 km. Haiji Kiyose, all'ultimo anno di studi universitari, è in cerca del "decimo uomo", il decimo coinquilino che completi lo studentato in cui vive, ma anche il decimo uomo che gli faccia mantenere una promessa stretta per la realizzazione di un progetto a cui tiene molto... Una sera incrocia Kakeru Kurahara, lui corre veloce come il vento, Haiji ne rimane folgorato e decide che sarà lui il decimo; così lo trascina a conoscere gli altri otto coinquilini, nonché la mascotte di casa, il cane Nira.

Mei Ayazuki è sempre stata emarginata dai suoi coetanei, perchè in grado di vedere entità sovrannaturali. Una sera di rientro da scuola si ferma ad osservare uno spettacolo di magia, l'artista - Charlie - la invita a fare da valletta per il suo numero. Così, per magia, si ritrova in una notte illuminata da una luna piena di colore rosso, nella Tokyo dell'epoca Meiji. Catapultata nel passato e priva di memorie, Mei incontrerà diverse figure storiche di rilievo del periodo, innamorandosi di loro.

Trama
Il giovane scrittore di gialli Subaru Mikazuki è rimasto solo al mondo a causa della morte dei suoi genitori ed è divenuto ancor più chiuso e meno bravo a relazionarsi con le persone di quanto non fosse già da piccolo. Considera tutti come un disturbo, una distrazione che lo distoglie dalla scrittura. Un giorno, dopo aver incontrato per caso una gattina randagia al cimitero, gli viene l'ispirazione per una nuova storia e così decide di portarsela a casa, per renderla la sua musa. Osservare gli imperscrutabili comportamenti del felino gli fornirà materiale utile per il suo nuovo romanzo e lo aiuterà a curare la sua solitudine e misantropia.

Trama
La storia racconta gli avvenimenti che hanno portato l'umanità a combattere delle creature volanti chiamate Zai. L'umanità per difendersi ha creato un aeronave chiamata "Figlie" ed un avanzato meccanismo di combattimento automatico chiamato "Anima", integrato in dei corpi di ragazze umane. TRAMA
Fuutaro Uesugi è uno studente dagli ottimi voti ma dal carattere asociale e sommerso dai debiti in famiglia. Un giorno conosce, una nuova studentessa appena trasferitasi finendo per litigarci. Poco dopo riesce a trovare un impiego part time come insegnante privato ma presto scopre che la studentessa a cui dovrà fare da tutor è proprio la ragazza con cui aveva battibeccato: Itsuki Nakano. Lei però non è sola perché a prendere ripetizioni saranno anche le sue altre quattro gemelle: Nino, Miku, Yotsuba e Ichika. Cinque gemelle, tutte in difficoltà con gli studi, ciascuna con un carattere differente e a suo modo problematico e non necessariamente ben disposte verso Fuutaro.
