In their terrific film "Crossfire Hurricane" (directed by Brett Morgen), important Part of the ongoing 50th anniversary celebrations, the Rolling Stones tell the story of their unprecedented adventure journey from blood-addicted teenagers in the early sixties to undisputed Status as rock royalty. All members of the band have been interviewed up-to-date, their Commentaries span recordings of legendary performances, sensational coverage and interviews, much of it previously unpublished.
With a title that is part of the lyrics of "Jumpin' Jack Flash," "Crossfire Hurricane" gives the viewer a very intimate impression of what it means to be part of the Rolling Stones and thus a quasi-survivor of indictments, drugs, disagreements and deaths and deaths.
The work on this film took more than a year and was personally co-directed by the Rolling Stones. "Crossfire Hurricane" is and will become the ultimate story of the greatest rock'n'roll band in the world. Bonus material includes the theatrical trailer, an interview with director Brett Morgen and footage of other performances.
