Tra le concorrenti rivali c’è invece Rebecca Leeman, detta Becky (Denise Richards), figlia di Gladys (Kirstie Alley), che non solo dirige il comitato di organizzazione dell’evento ma è, soprattutto, un’ex reginetta del concorso. La gara sembra, dunque, già segnata. A peggiorare la situazione sono anche tutta una serie di strati episodi che non convincono affatto, come la morte sospetta di una delle contendenti, Tammy, o quella di un ragazzo di cui Becky era molto innamorata.
