Dopo che il gruppo si solidifica arrivano diversi nemici sempre più potenti fino a scoprire che i protagonisti posseggono delle qualità straordinarie, e vi sono alcuni decisi a tutto pur di ucciderli. Il loro nemico è l'organizzazione dell'Egrigori, che aveva in passato creato tutte le Arms. I ragazzi comprendono che fino a quando esiste tale organizzazione non potranno mai vivere la vita normale di prima, e decidono così di combatterla. We see a typical Japanese high school, a couple of multi-storied buildings surrounded by athletic fields. And rappelling down the side of one of those buildings is 17-year-old Ryo, who is looking at some swifts nesting on the side of the building. Down below, Ryo's irritated girlfriend, Katsumi Akagi, demands he come down immediately! Ryo complies with good humor, and they and other students start cleaning up the grounds. Suddenly Ryo badly cuts his hand on some glass. His shocked classmates see the cut heal almost instantly.
